Dallas has had and has now a large number of the most talented NFL players in the league during Garrets tenure. I’m not a Garret hater. I always hoped he would learn and evolve but he has not.

Many of our most talented players moved on to teams where they won super bowls and their talent suddenly got better out from under Jerry and Garret.

There is no way you can take the talent on this team and lose to 2019 Jets unless there are fundamental serious errors and lack of coaching talent on this team.

From observing Dallas games and Patriots games you see where Belichek does not just prepare his team against the other team and their play book. He literally plans and coaches his team how to defeat the other teams 11 players on the field. It really is like Garret is coaching a checkers game while Belichek is coaching chess.

Garret just does not see the big picture and that is why he loses to the worst teams in the league. I imagine in Patriot prepping the players actually study the guys they will be matched up against week to week and Belichek and his staff likely already have player vs player templates and scheme to defeat each opposing player, not just the opposing plays and scheme which is also important.

If you ever watch Alabama play, you see the same depth of coaching and preparation. That is why they win.

That is why so many talented Cowboy players have wasted their careers under Garret. He had his shot and time to adjust and he failed.

We've had talented players, but we have almost always lacked good depth and quality players at key positions. Outside of Lawrence, our d-line was never great, never had consistently good CB play, and never had a quality safety.

I blame the players and the coaching staff.

Another fire Garrett thread....ya we need this like we need another 15 million $ off- lineman...

Yes, by all means, lets not make the players accountable for their crap play in certain situations. I am not a fan of Garrett, never have been, but the players are not faultless. There have certainly been games where the Coaching Staff has lost games for us. There have certainly been games where the players have. If we are going to say "Stop blaming the players" then you might as well say "Stop blaming the Coaches" as well.

Stop blaming the excellent coaching. The players are the ones not executing. Stop turning over the ball and committing penalties. No one beats the Cowboys like the Cowboys players do.

Agree. More like I don't blame the players that are here, but I do blame the losses on poor personnel acquisition which goes straight to the HC and GM.

What talented players have we let go that went on to boost their talent and win superbowls?

This is what I been saying.

Is depth worth more than talent?

This organization doesn't seem to have the player evaluation skills to have both depth and talent. So which one means more?

Or is it, they are too busy over paying the talent then they can't afford depth? I don't know but something is definitely wrong with this organization.

Amendola(I think)

Church should have been playing in a super bowl, but the NFL could not allow a JAX/PHILLY super bowl!!!!!

The NFL is fixed, period. Proof, Egals winning their 1st SB with a backup QB. 4th and goal, Matt Ryan tosses a pick in Philly was more than enough proof in the pudding yet once again.

Not to mention cry baby Rodgers wins the refs gave him thus far. The list goes on.

Of course you can find holes on every Cowboys team..you can do the same thing for all 32 teams every year...if you are waiting for a team w 53 star players, which it appears that's what the FO is doing, this team will never win

No, you can't do that for "32 teams", teams that win the Super Bowl normally have quality players in these key positions. Why do you guys say dumb stuff like this?

Patriots last season had a top rated Gilmore and McCourty in the secondary
Eagles had Jenkins and Cox
Denver had Miller and Ware
Ravens had Lewis and Reed
Seahawks had Sherman, Chancellor, and a great rotation at DE
Giants had JPP and Tuck

You see where this is going? We have had bum safeties, average corners, and Lawrence.

You get yourself a semi decent coach you can win a superbowl

all he gotta know is the other teams weakness and your strength thats it
