yeah I know. And were back to that attitude of "Lets hope the rest of the division sucks, so we can make it into the playoffs"...

Although , I am on board with the "get everybody back and get hot down the stretch" crowd. I do think there is a real possiblity that happens.... I am hoping for it...

but if one of these teams turns it around and puts together a season, and wins 10/11 games....then we are most likely done.

I think the Eagles are just a bad team. I dont see it in Wash. But the Giants are a team that I can see doing something like that....

yeah well, when I tell a soldier(Army) or Marine I did 4 years in the USAF, thats where the convo goes too, in addtion......They are usually just joking and teasing, but there is an element of seriousness to the teasing. Like the USAF "really" isnt part of the Armed Forces....

And oddly enough, I never run into the Navy guys...... I think they hide the fact they actually joined the Navy!! The NAVY for crying out loud....lol...!!

Weeden might become something else in the next few games. maybe we game plan better. Maybe we catch a few breaks here and there.....maybe the guys coming back off injuries/suspension will give us a good enough boost to win more then a few.....

I think we will be lucky to win 2 in the next 6/7 games.

I expect us to have six losses when Romo returns, but if the offense can score like it did in the first half against Atlanta, it could end up better than that. Defense has to play better, though, or it isn't going to matter too much who's at QB.

Things will likely get pretty ugly if the Cowboys can't beat the Saints without Brees assuming he doesn't play. They're 0-3 with Brees so if we can't beat them with McCown at QB the Cowboys season may be done when Romo gets back.

The last 8 days have been happy for me. I kept visiting Iggles forums and enjoyed the complete meltdown going on. Looking at threads here looks a lot like the Iggles threads this past week(with nicer language of course). We lost. Atlanta is a good team, it's not end of the season. We won't be seeing Julio Jones every weekend. Our defense needs work, but I can't say I'm unhappy with Weeden. He gave us 28 points. That should win ball games. I see Coleman cut, and looking at Cowboys forums today this looks like the meltdown last week with Philthy. The Boys are gonna be alright. We have a very manageable game against the Saints coming up. We win that, we're 3-1. If you asked me during the pre-season if I would be happy with 3-1 at this point, I'd have a big grin on my face.

It's one game. Yes, they need more work on the defense. I trust this team and coaching staff to fix it. Cowboy up, this season just started.

The only reason you are not going to get ripped is because it is early in the season. However, the defense that was fielded was not even middle of the pack good. At this point I am going to have to change my tune and say that the offense will be carrying the defense and that is opposite from what I had said before. The offensive OL will need to improve a lot in order to do this.

Think about the flip side ... Saints fans I'm sure are saying, "If we cannot beat the Cowboys with their starting QB out, their #1 receiver out, top 2 or 3 pass rushers out, starting MLB out, and top CB out, then we deserve to be 0-4."

Just trying to temper expectations - we're saying that the Saints should be easy to beat in their weakened condition, but we're not exactly at full strength either.
