I agree. I chalk up Ls for both Seattle and NE. Most likely Ls for Philly and NY. Although I hold out hope we can take one of those games....but even if we do get W, it wont be enough. We need to beat the Saints. And it wont be easy.

I also hold out hope that these trades the FO have been making will pay off. With Cassel and Crissy making significant contributions when the time comes, and holding things steady until Romo is ready.....

Its not over....but its going to be tight. we cant drop both ATL and NO with NE, Seattle NY Philly coming up.

well, we can. but I would rather not do that;

What have Seattle, Philadelphia, and New York done to warrant chalking those games up as losses?

The last time Jason Garrett didn't have Tony Romo for half a season the Cowboys were 5-3.

This is a glitch. The Cowboys are seriously undermanned with the injuries and suspensions but help is on the way. In a few more weeks we get hardy and McClain, a few weeks later we get Gregory. Dez will be back by Thanksgiving, perhaps we get Tony back in December.

This is going to be a cumulative effort, meaning the Cowboys will be building up to full strength slowly but surely until December, where they could peak.

6-6 after 12 games gives the Cowboys a real opportunity.

No one has a crystal ball. We don't know what games they will win or lose.

No. But people tend to opine about such things. They even go and wager money on the outcomes.....

Anybody wanna take the Cowboys against those teams, straight up? Im a Cowboys fan through and through, and I have never wagered against them. Its unnatural for me. I enjoy rooting for them.

But if you guys want to take that bet. Ill take it......:)

i wont take the Philly game. not yet. I still think they implode.....

Quitting? Giving up? Semantics. Bottom line is its a loser mentality to do it so soon.

I predicted a win against Atlanta, go look at the thread if you don't believe me

Point being is that prediction didn't help them win anything so a fan's mentality means jack

It's tough. People were calling Tony, Dez and Murray the new triplets and at this point we have none of them. Imagine losing Troy, Michael and Smith all at the same time! How good would those teams have been? Having said that, I'm gonna keep watching and hoping until we get our guys back.

I think he knows this. I think he can comprehend the fact that our opinions and predictions mean nothing.

I think he doesnt like people who are , in his point of view, "giving up". That they are "weak" and easily frightened, and the attitude is a "Loser Mentality Attitude", and he indirectly implies that the person with this attitude/opinion, is a "loser"; and it disgusts him to no end;

I do like postive thinking. whatever it is, whatever your doing in life. Your positive attitude will go a long long way in the success of whatever that thing is your doing or trying to accomplish. Whether it be a project, an idea, an agenda, or personal mental state. Positive thinking is very powerful.

However, there is a dangerous element/quality when people ignore reality in the name of being positive, and dismiss reality; very very ....dangerous.

I put this in the "Brees is playing" thread, but in case y'all don't see it there, I'm posting it here too:

EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS POST:

Y'all are a little worried? Well, Saints fans are too. My son listens to a lot of local sports shows (he's a Pelicans fan.) He was listening to a local call-in show yesterday and reported to me that Saints fans are PLENTY worried about this game, even though they fully expected Brees to play.

Over 32% of people who go to NOLA.com (Times-Picayune website, New Orleans' primary newspaper) think the Cowboys will win

If you'd like to vote in this poll, here's the link:
