I know you guys saw the Pats-KC game last night.

The Pats were not ready to play and they got their ears boxed.

Remember back to our last game in 2016 against the Packers.

We were not ready for that game either and fell behind by 21 pts early and lost.

Is this going to happen again Sunday?

Possibly.

Our starters have not played much..

Garrett has had problems getting this team ready for rivals like NY and GB.

Both of those teams have our number.

We don't matchup well against them..

so eyes wide open folks.

Comments?

Oh..BTW..Beckham will play..

count on it..

Our young and suspect defense matches up well their offense. Eli is a year older and they have no run game or OLine. As long as our offense puts points up on the board, I am not worried.

I think they will be ready to play, may not be good enough but they will be ready. This isn't the playoffs we are talking about

i do think there have been several games the last few years where the team started out extremely flat. i'm hoping that isn't the case sunday night.

We had beaten the Giants 5 straight times prior to the last 3, and pretty sure we beat Green Bay's *** last year in the regular season. No excuse for the defense no-showing the way they did in the playoff game but where did this myth come from that we dont match up with either team? Guys just have to show up and do their damn job.

But somehow this is about Garrett not having the team ready

I think some of it is to blame Garrett. Especially when they come out flat.

But, we always seem to have costly boneheaded penalties against New York. The holding plays after a long run. The errant pass, that hits Witten in the foot, that bounces into a Giants defenders hand.

We will win this game tomorrow.

We opened the Giants game with an 8 minute, 35 second drive. We forced a punt on our first defensive series. Had another 8 minute drive next.

What do flat mean?

OP moans and whines about not being as good as the giants and presents two games as evidence. Those opinions suck and they aren't true. We match up as good as anyone against the giants and have a more than good chance to beat them. Some folks are just so negative.

I'm not doubting your call on OBJ but I just left that Giants fan board ( the one our fellow member who wants to change his name to 'Nova' posts on) and they are 90% sure he's not gonna/ don't wanna risk that high ankle sprain,, the consensus was a montho_O

K.C. wasn't ready either at first;)

How do we know the Pats weren't ready to play. Just because they lost a home game to a very good KC team.
Just because Brady was not Brady-like...the dude is what 38 years old...maybe he really went down that much in a year.

I am more concerned that we have to play that KC team later this year.

Brady is 40 and yeah KC will be tough to beat.

But...."We don't matchup well against them.." lol. We added Switzer to our deep wr core. We can throw Dez, TWill, Beasley, Switzer, and Butler along with Witten/Swaim or Hannah at their secondary. Their OL is still terrible. Pretty sure we can match up that with Lawrence, Mayowa, Taco, Crawford, Collins, Paea, Tapper and hopefully the new guy Price (Broaddus likes the guy). Dak looks improved from what we saw in preseason. Arm shows more zip on his passes (worked with qb coach in offseason at qb camp.). The guy won't be green as he was last year going into his 1st game vs GIants and won't be playing in the cold weather of NY (where he also struggled). because of it.
