Storm warning vs Giants

If anything, this game is getting teed up for Dallas.
We get a huge boost with Zeke, while they may end up missing Beckham--their best player and one of the best in the entire league. Even if he plays, hes not nearly 100%.

Still expect a dogfight though. It always is.

Cant wait!
:flagwave:

I expect the Cowboys to play with the sort focused determination that puts the NFL and the Cowboy opponents on notice with the message, "we are not distracted, we are ready".

Wishful thinking? Hope not.

"Zak Prescott is a very mediocre passer"

(btw, more Giant fans stick up for Dak and what he did as a rookie than those who don't think he's all that. lol.)

- He can complete passes when he has an airtight pocket and throws to wide open receivers but struggles with longer passes when the receiver is defended

He benefits greatly from the running game to keep him upright.

- I just never saw the hype around Dak. I never saw glimpses of greatness that warrented all of the praise. Did he perform well as a rookie, for sure, but its hard not to behind a line that can give you all day to sit in a pocket and a back like elliot who's a beast. The games I watched of Dak was jut a mediocre game manager who struggled to through the ball deeper than 10 yards. Maybe he'll prove me wrong, I doubt it.

- I have to say i too believe he has been way overhyped and that Dallas did an immaculate job, by way of their personnel ie OL, hiding his warts bc he does have them.

- I've been saying it since last yr. He lucked out by being drafted by a team with the best OL in the game & having 1 of the best RBs to hand the ball off to. Does anyone really think he would have had the yr he did if he had been drafted by the Jets or the Browns? He was a very mediocre QB when the Giants & Vikings limited his run game.

- He deserves credit for not messing up. Worst QB in the league when it was 3rd and long. The Cowboys offense was built on ground game and killing the clock. A perfect offense for a rookie quarterback.
Hes not as good as people think, and not as bad as people think.

- I bet Weeden would have had a great yr behind that OL last yr & handing off to the Ewok.

- With that OL & run game, Eli would have passed for 5000yds & 45 TDs. Like I said, let's see where he's at 5yrs from now.

What a bunch of dummies who are just making stuff up.

:facepalm:Op tends to post some annoying stuff at times.

????

What in the world does that have to do with the conversation at hand?

YOU said "Garrett has problems getting this team ready for rivals like NY"

I responded by pointing out that under Garrett, we had a stretch where we beat NY FIVE times in a row.

And then you quote me and go on a rant about how they've won Super Bowls...

LOL wut

Reading comprehension much?
Let me refocus for you..

the Jint's are our biggest rivals.

Despite us winning the division..

they beat us twice in the regular season..

and I'm sure the Cowboys were very happy they lost in the playoffs last year.

so they would not have to face them again potentially.

Those are points in the conversation.

Maybe not for you..

whatever.

False bravado never won a game.

lol...that's a good one. Zeke does have that ewok look to him.

lol...found this and had to share.
