only problem is im not even getting exited about the chance cuz u can quote me on this but i love parcells. i think he is 1 of the greatest but he needs to get head out of *** and put his own ego of admitting he was wrong and do what is best for this team. id rather him gamble with the rest of the season rather than toss it in toilet by keeping bledsoe on. (wow i feel like i just denounced my religion) haha

Another reason for making the QB switch: remember when Parcells said he needs someone to drive the bus? Meaning:not forcing plays... not making mistakes to get you beat... has Bledsoe really been that kind of QB? I mean he is either gunslinging out there and throwing to a group of talented receivers running free... OR he is fumbling and falling and getting hammered because he lacks the athleticism to avoid the rush. Period.

If I want someone to drive the bus, I want someone with the talent to win close ballgames and someone that won't do what Drew has been doing. BP needs to heed his own advice in this regard.

We are an I formation, 3 WR, or 2TE team. Screw the 5 wide nonsense (what was that really? Horrible...). We should line up and run julius and throw to our TE and get our play action passing game going. Let's control the clock, and not make mistakes. Let's pass protect, and if the play is not there avoid negative yardage and turnovers.

Romo's mobility would give him the edge to be a more effective "bus driver". His arm and talent is about equal to Grossman's in Chicago. Let's scale BACK the offense and use our talented receivers and big play TE. We are not the Colts. Our D will keep us in everygame. We're not ever going to be blown out.

Make the move.

Today's game did not surprise me in the least. I supported Bledsoe all last year. I think his play warranted it. But he simply is not playing as well this year. Not sure if he's hurt or not. All I see is that even with decent protection Bledsoe finds a way to turn it into pressure on the QB. He just seems incapable of finding a niche in the pocket and delivering the ball. Its almost eerie.

I said earlier this week I was very close to calling for Romo. I'm ready to see him throw his first NFL pass. I'm not afraid to take the risk. If it blows up, so be it. Or bring Drew back.

Its not even the jailbreak blitz that is the worst part. Its as much the other games where pass rush pressure is not that great and yet somehow Drew finds his way into the pressure or holds & pats til it comes.

Its not that Bledsoe caused us to lose to the Eagles. Its that he appears to be the reason the offense constantly sputters and leaves even the mediocre teams hanging around instead of delivering a knockout when the opportunity is there.

I got that sense in both the Jax & Commander games. And I mostly credit the D for the Titans blowout.

That last series today was classic Bledsoe. Step 1 - take a killer sack after holding the ball far too long. Step 2 - Team takes forever then to line up the offense for the next play (not sure who gets all that credit but he is the field general right?) Step 3 - deliver a short completion that has no chance for yardage on 3rd and short to give us no chance for a 1st down AND keeps the clock running. Step 4 - Deliver a haymaker punch out of nowhere to a disbelieving defense that puts us right on the doorstep of tieing the game. Step 5 - With 4 shots at redemption from point blank range, make an extremely poor decision on 2nd down to wipe out any further opportunity.

Parcells will very likely stay with Drew, and we'll win some more games, none really because of him. Or maybe Bledsoe will rally and start playing better.

But I am not afraid to try Romo. I am not afraid of mistakes he will make because those mistakes are being made pretty much every game by Bledsoe already. But I am intrigued to see if we can find some upside with Romo that seems totally lost on Bledsoe through 4 games thus far.

Start Romo or keep Bledsoe?

Can't add polls any more???

Not only no...hell NO!!

We cannot give up on the season yet, that's what starting Romo would mean.

stick a pole in the ground 3 and 1/2 yards behind the center with a wind up arm the releases the ball after 3 secs... and I am willing to bet ya that pole would get sacked less than Bledsoe...cause that pole won't walk into a sack and released the ball in a timely manner...make the pole a little more fancy with a release of short, medium, long and I bet it would complete more passes too...:(

disgusting...

I was against Bledsoe coming but I have been rooting for him very hard on gameday to do well and on the other days that he will get benched

Which is why I wanted to do this poll to see if I was alone in this mess or not.

I'm tired of inconsistency, lack of cajones, sluglike play, and the look of a rookie in veteran's clothing that can't even throw the ball away to avoid a sack as vets typically do. For the sake of the team I believe the young gun with swagger should start NOW. ROMO :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

Everything's in place for a QB to be successful in Dallas, some WRs that can make things happen after the catch, a trusty TE, a solid ground game.....

They'd be no different than the Bears, who seem to be having some offensive success with an unproven QB.

its time to see what Romo can do, but I know it wont happen

Bledsoe has played awful since that Vikings preseason game...maybe he is more hurt than we know...but doesnt seem to have any zip on the ball or be throwing with any consistent accuracy even when he does get time...he's either washed up or injured...either way, its time for him to be replaced...we arnt going anywhere with Bledsoe

David

Absolutely right David! I have been hoping for Romo since shortly after halftime of Week-1.

If Parcells just wants a bus driver then lets at least have a guy that can avoid traffic acidents.

Romo. It's the Texans next week. Give him a half and see how he does.

I just can't believe in Bledsoe down the stretch. This game reminds me a lot of the Seattle game last year where an ill-advised throw also gave away any chance.
I agree...give Romo the first half...if he looks ok, keep him in the whole game and then let him start the 1st qtr against NYG

After Bledsoe's performance, i think we can't deny that there is a QB controversy in Dallas...
