Not sure what he is talking about but Couture did cut Brock's eye at about 3:45 of round 2. Brock didn't seem dazed to me but he did spend time wiping his eye. He also had Brock pinned up against the cage for about 3 minutes over the 2 rounds.

Brock was just so much bigger it was insane but for a guy having 15 months of ring rust Couture didn't look bad at all.
yeah, I remember that but I don't remember him getting hurt by Couture.

when did he get rocked vs Brett Rogers?
It's been awhile since I saw the fight, but Rogers was pounding his face in on the ground. I was actually surprised he was able to avoid getting pounded out.

I'll be the first to admit Fedor is the greatest fighter of all time. But he fights at 235. Brock cuts from around 285 to make weight. Brock isn't more talented than Fedor, but he has a huge weight advantage. That would be like BJ fighting Nate Marquardt. He would probably lose, but he's still more talented. And yes, I am aware that BJ lost to Frankie Edgar, but that's only because he obviously didn't train hard.

Anyway, I have a lot of respect for Fedor, but he hasn't fought any worthy opponents recently.

I'm not an MMA n00b. So yes I know who Hong Man Choi is. I also know that Brock Lesnar would destroy him. Fedor doesn't have the best takedown defense (well unless he can grab the ropes *cough*Matt Lindland*cough*), but he's got a good submission game. Mainly arm bar and kimura, but I don't see anyway he could arm bar Brock, or slap a kimura on. He's too big. His only chance would be to knock Brock out. Well, if Brock were smart he would take him down and just ground n pound. So basically I am fairly confident Brock would destroy Fedor.

It seems like all the long-time MMA fans feel threatened by Brock so they never give him the credit he's due. I still remember in his rematch with Mir how a lot of them were saying Mir would easily sub him again.

Like I said Fedor is the greatest fighter of all-time,but Brock is just too much for him (before he got sick that is).

Stop backpedaling. You said Brock was too big and strong for Fedor when that's clearly not the case.

Also, Brock's too big to get submitted by Fedor? I don't know...Frank Mir submitted him pretty damn easy...Imagine what Fedor would do. :laugh2:

I love how you think the huge, powerful, spartan warrior Brock is just too much for Fedor...After just 4 wins. Hilarious. Drink some more Dana White Kool-Aid.

I'm not backpeddling at all. Brock is much more skilled in wrestling than HMC is in kick boxing.

And yes, Brock is too big to get submitted by Fedor. At least on his upper body. And Brock was a lot more green when he got submitted by Murr. We all saw what happened between the two after that fight.

You act like Brock is just big and strong, but he is a physical freak with an incredible wrestling background.

Keep thinking Fedor would annihilate Brock, but if they fought I know who would win. I like how all the Pride fan boi's think all the foreign fighters are the best. I had a great laugh watching Aoki get his *** kicked by Melendez when all the Pride people were saying Aoki could beat BJ.

what if Fedor caught him with a punch and knocked him down? I do think that Fedor would be in major trouble if Brock got him down early in a round.

Dana White could have fedor in the UFC but wouldnt co-promote Fedors company M1 Global. I think it woulda been so easy to make this happen but it wont so u guys need to stop talking about it. they wont ever fight so forget it.

M1 had unreasonable demands. It's been awhile since I heard the demands so I'm going from memory because I'm too lazy to look it up, but they wanted a large percentage of the revenue from the show and they wanted them to co-promote. Why would the UFC co-promote some **** organization like M1?

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Mousasi leave M1 even?

That I could see. Fedor's stand up is very unorthodox. At least compared with traditional boxing. His stand up is obviously influenced from Sambo. Fedor is a better striker and he is extremely fast, but then again so is Brock.

I could see Brock not even bothering with stand up though and just shooting in and taking it to the ground. Fedor's not exactly known for his takedown defense. Brett Rogers was taking him down, and Brock is a much better wrestler than Rogers.

that was a weird fight cause I thought Fedor looked like **** in the Rogers fight until he murdered Rogers via decapitation. R.I.P. Brett Rogers

You're a lost cause. Why are you bringing up this stuff about "foreign" fighters? You do know 3 of the UFC champs are "foreign" right?

If you say so. I was on an MMA site with well over a thousand people where I called the winner, round, and method of victory right over every single person, but yeah I know nothing.

And I'm not saying all foreign fighters are garbage. There's many great ones. But many people seem to overrate them because it's hip to dislike the UFC.

And if you've actually ever trained you would know Fedor has no chance of submitting Brock with any subs dealing with the upper body due to Brock's mass and strength.

Yeah, I thought it was too. Rogers had an obvious size advantage, but Fedor just had too much heart and skill for him. He was also smart and didn't panic. One thing Fedor is great at is waiting for someone to make a mistake (like in the Arlovski fight) and then capitalizing on it. It's one reason why he will go down as the greatest fighter of all-time. He's just so well-rounded.

You have to be trolling. Please re-read your post and try to keep a straight face. I couldn't.
