Simply not true. Romo will be back and play well unless Prescott just lights it up.

You are assuming Romo will come back and play great and not get hurt. Which is as hollow as you assuming that Romo will be healthy this year and be a replay of 2014. Tried to talk sense into you brother. Get that homer head off or Romo and transfer the hat onto Dak.

The future is NOW!!!!!

Eh, Tony's not done yet. He's coming back and probably sooner than we think, but I will agree, he truly is now, one hit away.

I thought Michael Irvin summed it up pretty well on Mike & Mike today. Let's take 7 games as a barometer.

If Dak goes 5-2 and Tony's ready, there's a controversy.
If Dak goes 2-5, Tony is behind the eight ball and has a lot of work ahead of him to bring us back.
If Dak is 3-4 or 4-3, the fans understand Dak needs some work and can't wait for Tony to get back and we're still alive.

Never a dull moment, that's for sure.
All comes down to how we arrive at those records and how much Romo would have affected the outcomes. And when those losses come. What if Dak is 3-4 but got there by winning the last 3 in a row?

Some will say Booger will play him because he's paying him all that money. He's paying him all that money regardless and paid Owens 9M not to play. The money isn't as big a part of it as some make it out to be for Booger. And the loyalty thing is overblown, he lied about Aikman retiring.

The mere fact that this is Romo we're talking about, the single most polarizing player in the history of the NFL, unless Dak really stinks it up, there is going to be a QB controversy,

Funny thing is, nobody cares what you're sick and tired of. You have no say.

There is NOTHING you can do my man. Its Dak time. Sorry that bothers you. Personally I am doing cartwheels. We are so lucky to have stumbled on this kid.

Dak has played unbelievably this preseason, and I really do hope he turns out to be a stud for the Cowboys, but let's not get crazy just yet. In the words of Bill Parcells: "We've got a ways to go here. So put away the anointing oil, OK?"

The kid has to have time to mature and grow. Let that be now and now 3 years from now. Its not his fault Romo is brittle an old.

I sadly agree. But trust me, if Dak plays anything like he has played the HOMER jerry will be completely in the moment.

No doubt and I could agree if Stephen had his complete way, Romo would have to win the job back if Dak plays lights out. Stephen was
instrumental in getting DWare off the team. I don't think Jerry likes to let go of his favorite guys no matter what.

If they have to rely on Dak, we're looking at a 6-10 type of season. He's not ready to win shootouts. The run game had better be the greatest in Cowboys history if Dallas is going to win without Romo right now.

This is the NFL. You DON'T let guys learn on the job unless you have no other options. You DO what it takes to give your team the best chance to win on every Sunday.

Nobody cares what you are and aren't tired of.

In case you didnt notice, we dont have any other options. And NO its not just about winning this week. Its about winning long term and getting a SB caliber team for a long time. I could care less if you want to wave your pom poms at the expense of future success.

No matter who the QB is there will be drama and Romo is better than Dak Dak has a lot of learning to do and Romo is a good place for Dak to learn from

Romo isnt on the field buddy. Until he can play, dont talk to me about Romo is better. In 8 weeks then lets talk about who is better. I would have liked nothing more than Romo to be a strong, 36 year old healthy stud. But that isnt reality.

I'm trying not to debate the "injury prone" angle but the effectiveness one. We aren't going anywhere with the Romo that played last year at Thanksgiving and it could be until this one that we see him again. I'm a Romo fan, they need not rush him back, I don't care what the record is.
Oh I'm not saying they should rush him back, I don't want that. I'm just saying that as it stands, Dak can't fill his shoes... yet.

ROMO is better and an iron man even this time next season he will be better Dak is going to be the future but Romo is the present and will be until he retires or takes the hit that retires him

Even with Romo, Dallas is not winning without a good defense. We cannot trade scores with teams and expect to win. Even healthy, Romo's body would not stand up to a 16+ game year. Romo's style of play would wear him down. Like it or not, it's Dak time. If we go 6-10 with him, and he's obviously not the answer, then we daft another QB next year. If he shows promise, then we ride the Dak train.....

This must be your first preseason.

At what point do you admit that you are wrong and start listening to those posters that have history of getting thing right?

Im finally being homerish about the Cowboys and guys like prescott and all of a sudden you cant understand it?

It will depend on Dak's win percentage. Jerry will go back to Romo unless Dak is winning most games. That's just how Jerry operates.

Even if the season is basically lost by the time Romo is ready, Jerry will still want him to play.

Now on this we can agree. I can only hope that Dak will make it soo obvious that even Jerry will get the new juice.

like: one day, if I'm a good boy I'll earn that like button.LOL...Yeah Romo gives us the best chance to make noise, nobody knows at this point. It'll have to play itself out. I have a feeling we'll know real early in the season.

How is Romo a better QB? If get even stay on the field? Dont confuse Romo prime with Romo now. And dont doubt the abilities of Dak.

One of the elite QBs in the league vs. a rookie? I mean I suppose it's possible Dak is better right now, but the chances of that are about .0000001%.

Yes.......and sadly Stephen was quoted as saying...................."we hope Dak can just not turn the ball over". Talk about a vote of confidence?

I would be creating the image that we can all rally behind Dak and we expecdt magical things. If and when Romo gets on the field then we can talk them. Until then he is doing NOTHING for this team on the bench.
