Name some things you have done that few people ever get to do. Also name some stuff that other people do that you have never done.

Stuff I Have Done That Many People Do Not Get To Do

Held an actual murder weapon.
Fought a fire.
Saved a life.
Watched someone die.
Driven a fire truck.
Driven an ambulance.
Performed a wedding ceremony.
Conducted a funeral.
Built a house from the ground up.
Gone deep sea fishing.
Been in a hot air balloon.
Jumped a motorcycle over a police car.
Had something I've written published and made money on it.


Stuff I Have Never Done That Many People Have

Eaten sushi.
Sent a text message.
Gotten a tattoo.
Worn jewelry other than a watch or wedding ring.
Played games in an arcade.
Watched an episode of the Simpsons, South Park, or Married W/ Children.
Snow ski.
Ridden a snow mobile.
Been drunk, or even had a drink as an adult.
Smoked anything.
Tried drugs.

Cleaned up after a relative's suicide (wish I hadn't)
Watched a Superbowl with my newborn son (he was born right after kickoff of the Panthers at Pats)
Saved a drowning child
Had someone hold a knife to my throat with intent to use
Gone Spear Fishing (skim diving)
Attended a Superbowl


Stuff I haven't done
Attended a Cowboys training Camp (I live in Corpus Christi, so it is a little weird to not go two hours to San Antonio)
Been banned on CowboysZone yet
Tried snow skiing
Ridden a motorcycle (even though I want one someday)
won money at gambling

(Mostly name-dropping stuff, but it's all I've got) ...

Had lunch with Hostile.

Met or interviewed seven members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and many other Cowboys players and coaches.

Drove a tractor and combine each summer from the time I was 12.

Had a book published.

Sank a 55-foot buzzer-beating shot (well past half court) in a high school basketball game.

Helped deliver a breeched calf (all I did was help hold the cow steady).

Spent part of an afternoon at Valley Ranch with Chan Gailey.

Watch part of an NBA game on TV with Tony Hill and Drew Pearson in a hotel room.

Met Gloria Estefan.

Visited John Wayne's grave.



Stuff I Haven't Done That Many People Have Done:

Watch an episode of Law & Order, The Simpsons, Family Guy, CSI, and many other very popular contemporary TV shows.

Get a tattoo

Try/use illegal drugs

Been east of Dallas (I've only been in the Southwest quadrant of the U.S.)

Ridden a train (I've got to do this)

Been a patient in a hospital (aside from birth)

I should add that I did two things in the past year that I had never done before -- play a video game (played a game with my son ... the only person I would break the streak for), and watch a Brad Pitt movie (The Assassination of Jesse James, which was pretty good).

I've tried snow and water skiing, and hate 'em both. It feels too unnatural to be sliding on something like that.
