As for why fans are getting sensitive about this, I think the rationale is pretty simple. Our defense made Bush look silly, yet you flip over to the postgame stuff and it's made to sound like the other way around.

ESPN's groupie-like treatment of Bush was nowhere close to the most annoying aspect of their broadcast...

That would be when they left the game altogether to let the governor of Louisiana flap her gums... and flap her gums... and flap her gums... all while the game is going on in a box so small you can''t make out the numbers of the players making plays...

If they had to give that woman that kind of air time, interview her at freakin' halftime...

Amen, ESPN was trying to get into the political arena with that one.
