These kinds of hyperbolic responses are what makes the forum suck from time to time. First off relax. Second if you read my posts on this I was not too worked up about it. My opinion was colored by some reports I heard that Lewis was weeks away. Those turned out to be inaccurate. So again relax. Third I mentioned Gallimore as another potential cut. So again relax. People are entitled to their opinions here. You must be one of those fussy types that believes they are always right and must endure the rest of humanity. Relax and try not to be such a clown.

Land was dominating in the second half of these preseason games. I remember thinking to myself that he had earned himself the chance to do it from the go to step up his level of competition. That never happened.

Instead, Williams got all those reps. He was a good prospect but he was not that good of one.

Golston is 3T/LDE (run stopper) a much different type player and role.

Parsons, Williams, DA and Fowler is where you beef should be at they were the guys in front of Land.

No worries, the Cowboys will be drafting an Edge Rusher early in next year's draft.

Are you seriously touting a guy using a 4min+ highlight video that shows basically routine plays? Umm... He made some tackles after a short gain? Cool. He tackled a guy 5 yards down field while a teammate facemasks the runner? Awesome, I guess. He tipped a pass at the LOS? (wow. Such an extraordinarily rare feat) I admittedly got bored after the first two minutes and stopped watching. But usually highlight films have actual, ya know, highlights.

He had 9 tackles. 15 assisted tackles. 0 sacks. 0 fumbles recovered 1 fumble forced for the year.

Impressive.

Maybe lance one day develops into a guy like Fowler, DLaw, Armstrong, Williams. That's for a team who isn't ready to make a run. Cowboys are ready now and at that position they are looking really good.

And? Jordan Davis didn't have a good season. Is that supposed to somehow cover the yawn inducing season your boy in washington had?


And while your wailing and gnashing of teeth over losing a JAG is amusing, a neverwillbe like whatshisname isn't worth the time. Regardless of how you attempt to spin it, he's nothing special. If he's still in the league in a year or two, he should count himself lucky. Just because a bottom feeder team has him employed doesn't prove anything.
