I should have said in practice. Maybe not 5. It depends on the number of rushers. It is how OL block though. Keep it on the inside of the frame and keep your arms in. They are praising that in the film room.

They're not praising it when you overextend, get out of position and have to hope you get away with holding, all of which Linsley did on that play.

This is a public forum. You have no notion of what to expect here similar to your takes on what blockers in football do. Protip: there are no private arguments to be interjected.

Further, I was not resting my argument on having others agree. My argument stands on its own and Adam is extending it quite nicely.

My point was an acknowledgement of our audience. You are being pigheaded and likely would not admit you were wrong even if you realize it yourself. Many men are like that but in terms of persuasion you are a lost cause.

OTOH, you are not persuading anyone and if anything the overwhelming consensus outside of you is that Irving was indeed held. That doesn't necessarily make it true and you can champion on by yourself if it suits you. I was just telling you why I was not going to waste my time anymore.
