He can say all he want about Romo having "bad" december games. The truth is that Romo has never ever looked like Prescott looked last night.

There was not a single time in that second half where I though Prescott would march us down the field. He has played okay (against Washington) and very poorly the last two weeks. If he plays that poorly again, it should absolutely be back to Romo.
Somebody has amnesia.

I've seen Romo look worse. Much much worse. I thought we would absolutely win the game after Dez finally caught a pass. Unfortunately he fumbled. That's not on Dak. Neither was the missed FG or the two int's both on Dez.
What color is the sky in your world? If Romo ever looked worse than that, it was because he was running for his life. Dak was horrific in a clean pocket. There is a huge difference.

Romo has had god awful games too. The difference is that Romo has the higher ceiling than Dak right now which is understandable since Dak is still a rookie. I'd much rather take the higher ceiling in the playoffs even if it means risking a poor Romo performance.

Dak’s average QBR the last 3 weeks - 56.5.

Brock Osweiler’s season QBR - 56.5.

Just sayin......

Dak's not been playing good the past couple of weeks, that's a fact, saying that, you don't pull him right now, if he lays an egg again then I think it's time for #9.

This is where I greatly disagree with many on what "we need." I don't care about a higher ceiling when that cieling, in the past, has come with acrobatic, soul crushing ints and bad plays. Where I like Dak is he stays within himself except for 1 game this year. We were the talk of the NFL because we ran Zeke and then moved Dak around and he made the RIGHT read almost every time. It was nearly unstoppable. I think our playcalling let us down Sunday. Our first TD was pounding the ball, taking a 4th down risk and then a roll out with a perfect pass to Twill. After that we went to a straight drop throw offense and abandoned Zeke. Sorry but I'll repeat again what I've said 50 times...we had a guy who was 19/2 TD/Ints coming into the game. He had over a 100 rating and had won 11 straight. People are ripping his Minny game but we only asked him to pass 18 times again a top D and he was still 66.7 % with a TD and NO turnovers in a win...how is that bad? The over reaction to one bad game...which many expected way before now..is incredible

Thanks Bob, I think this sums up the game perfectly. Consider this: As bad as Dallas was offensively (and they were really, really bad), the Giants were almost as bad and we only lost by 3 points.

Keep your heads up everyone.
True but everyone knew the Giants were bad on offense this year. Our offense was supposed to be a team strength, which is why I found this game to be disturbing and I know they won't admit it, but I guarantee the Cowboys coaching staff is alarmed right now too.

I'll take the guy that led us to a franchise record 11 straight wins.

Way to take a game completely out of context. I remember that game. Romo was harassed non stop-our o-line was terrible. We hardly even ran in that game.

Dak stood back there all game and played scared. It was terrible to watch.
Yes. We know you wish mightily to see your boy Romo back in the saddle. Broke back & all. It's ok to just say it instead of sugar coating.

why not just count the games vs spagnuolo calling their defense? That is what is beating Dallas.

Here is a hint, its pretty great.

So that would be 2007-2008 (as defensive coordinator)
and 2015 to the present (as defensive coordinator).

4-1 vs him as giants coordinator and blew him out as rams coach and defensive coordinator.

Also beat the giants in 08 when they were the nfc and nfl's top team. The final texas Stadium win.

He was trying to save a team that couldn't manage to win one damn game without him.

But we've managed to win 11 games without him. Go figure.
That's the problem with him and those who want him to return. He feels he is the savior of this franchise, which puts him in a situation to both get hurt and make a bone-headed play that costs us a game.
Jerry Jones, Jason Garrett and Romo himself are to blame for his predicament and his lack of rings. This "savior" mentality has ruined this franchises. Build a team and let everyone do their jobs. Stop relying on Romo to run to the rescue.
