Your entire stance has been illogical though. It has already been pointed out with the comparison between Michael and McFadden.

The argument that a player won't do well here because he failed elsewhere just doesn't work. Right now, McFadden is underwhelming. Anyone getting upset with the fact that we should go another direction makes me question why. You have yet to answer that with any kind of merit.

I've read your post. You are the last person who should be claiming someone is illogical.

Should have kept Callahan. That would have helped the running game more than a RB IMO.

That's also a good point. It's really hard to figure out what our problem is right now:
1. O-line not healthy and thus not performing well.
2. The loss of Murray.
3. The loss of Callahan.
4. A different offensive philosophy and more shorter passes and passes to RBs.

Take your pick. I know that #1 should be cleared up soon. I'd guess #4 will change because I see us running more with Weeden under center. So it really comes down to which loss hurts more, Murray or Callahan?

Well you are asking him to explain the unexplainable. If his failures in Seattle is enough to say he shouldn't play then the same standard would keep McFadden from playing. Neither guy has set the league on fire. If C Michael did play and put up a whopping 2.8 YPC then I would say someone else deserves the opportunity. It's not that people are asking to cut McFadden.

Lol, I have the mental image of you meeting him in person and saying "Nice to meet you, you strike me as soft"

I'd love to see that on video to see Bernys reaction

He would probably just let me walk by him like a defensive lineman.

Time to make the change

Sturm. ( I hate autocorrect). Sorry.

Collins was better as I indicated in my review post; however, Sturm is biased because Collins was his pet cat from the draft. Strum hyped him in the preseason despite the fact that he had many mistakes.

If Leary can't play, I would expect Collins to get all snaps in the next game.

In the running game yes, in pass protection. That's a real question. Collins had issues in pass protection, but I'm going to guess he is improving daily. The question really is, how quickly will he become better than Frenchie? Based on the fact that they were in rotation, I think Collins is getting close. Probably just not close to Leary yet, but then again. I could probably play guard better than Frenchie at 205lbs than he does at 300+

I don't care which one plays so long as it's the better man. If the team is trying to acclimate (or whatever the hell they would be doing) Collins even if Collins is the better player, they're doing everyone a giant disservice.

glad to know your at practice watching the players and your a pro-evaluator

I would argue I merely "evaluated him" as opposed to "hyped him". He is really good. And the best option for the spot when he proves to pass all mental tests. I wrote this tonight at the Morning News - I think Collins is a significantly better talent than Bernadeau and already better than him. For that matter, I also think he is a better talent than Leary by a large margin, too. But, it is important for him to demonstrate that he is dependable and knows where to be and what to do. Leary has done that well and while he is not as strong a player, he is a better student of the game right now. As soon as Collins can ace those mental tests, he will be in the lineup each week. I thought he played quite well on Sunday and had no major issues. But, he had some minor ones and even went the wrong way on 1-2 zone plays. He has to get those out of his game quickly.

Pet cat might simply mean that after watching the OL all play 200+ college plays in the draft, he was the most impressive by a large margin.

And Mcfadden was let go by the Raiders, that there destroys your argument.

McFadden was a FA, he was not let go. And your argument that you will say, they did not want him back, as really, he probably didn't want to stay.

Not really, Mcfadden is active because he can pass protect, I doubt it has anything to do with his running ability.

And you really believe that? Wow....no RB was ever kept for sole purpose of pass protection, they need to be able to run, pass, block. That's like saying Michael was traded for his running as its been said he needs to pass block better....oh, he isn't running yet, so what is up with that?

Right now, Michael couldn't hold McFadden's jock as for experience and running ability. Maybe in time he will prove to be that runner, but not now.
