They should fine players for pick plays. The NFL can review the film and determine exactly which picks are legal and which ones are illegal.

I agree on the ones that can injure the player.

The one thing I liked about the refereeing in the Pats game is that if the pick play could injure a defensive player, it was flagged. If it was safe, then they didn't flag it.

Still, I want a point of emphasis as to what constitutes a pick and what the referees are looking for.

Personally, I would like to see them eliminated not only for player safety, but to make the game a bit more exciting. The horizontal passing game is a snore fest to watch.

I like his last line "they are very good at what they do and nobody stops it". I wonder if he's implying cheating. If not I will. They are consistant cheaters.

But as they say if you can't beat em...I would only go as far as the picks. The other stuff is a weak way to win.

On those pick plays - I would rather just destroy the receiver running the pick. If it calls for pass interference at least you get a good hit on the WR. Garrett then can talk to the refs and explain the pick and convince them that the defender is fighting for ground to cover the open option :).

I would coach my DBs to strategically clock any WR that is picking you. Clean shot right in the chest. Sorry. Take the penalty. I'd give them 3 opportunities in the first half. But not on a 3rd down. You draw attention to the action and force the refs to call it closely the rest of the game.
