Sugar Bowl

IDK boise at least has swagger, i think they would have at least stayed close with florida with their offense. I also think that game between boise and TCU will be close. I think TCU would beat florida pretty handedly. i think the mountain west should try to poach/merge with the WAC, they would make a pretty outstanding conference

:lmao2:

You're underestimating Florida and overestimating Boise State. I don't think Boise State is much better than Cincinatti. IMO, Florida and TCU are very close. I doubt either team could beat the other easily.

I think Florida would have kicked the crap out of Boise State also. I think they would have beaten TCU by a couple touchdowns.

TCU plays defense and has a balanced offense. They would definitely hold their own against Florida, and IMO, win.

WTH...guy celebrating the td like he just won the game. Man I hate athletes...so dumb.

what a pathetic showing...

every year this garbage just gets worse

and you know the worst part of it is that we have to wait until next Thursday to see a Bama roll over UT

I hate the days in between the bowl games the should be played on the same day

the whole thing has just turned into a joke...I'd prefer they go back to the way they did it in the 70's and 80's to this junk...the matchups themselves are mostly boring and there is definitely too much funny crap going on with the "BCS"

there's way too many bowls, most of them dont get anywhere near sold out either unless corporatiosn buy up the tix, but the vast majority of the games have TONS of empty seats...

Start the "Can Tebow play QB?" talks for the next 4-5 months

***

Sure some team will try it, but whoever takes him is going to be sadly disappointed if they believe he's the "answer" at their QB spot. He's a clipboard carrier at best IMO, and might not even be that.

I've said it all season, for some bad team at the top of the draft that really NEEDS a QB, this is just a horrendous year IMO.

I'll give them credit. Florida dominated and Tebow had a great game.

How hard was that to say?

Was there ever any doubt?

Whats changed? Its still decided by the voters, the only diffeence is they added some hocus pocus computer forumulas. They still have had several seasons where they CLEARLY didnt get it right. Hell they might not have even got it right this yr. The best team in Texas might be the one playing Boise State, not the one playing Alabama.

Come on now, we all know, barring any sort of idiocy, that no team will draft tebow to be the answer. Every GM knows he's a project. QB's aren't supposed to be thrown in the mix right away anyways, most of them need time to develop.

In my opinion that's the problem with a lot of teams. Instead of letting their rookie QB develop patiently they give the fans what they want (i.e make more money) by playing them immediately.

I think I made it pretty clear why I didnt like it.
and it made no sense, they didn't always get it right then and they don't always get it right now, the computers haven't changed that, at least now the top 2 ranked teams play each other every year. Hell of a lot better than before. Of course only a playoff makes sense, but that ain't happening anytime soon.
