Suicide Squad getting horrible reviews

I read something about them liking the reaction from that 1st preview. I am assuming the one where Harley sings, I started a joke. And they wanted to change the direction to a more humorous theme, which is why they had the reshoots.

I think the film has been so hyped it draws out the contrarians who've been waiting to hate on it. I'm still definitely going to see it.

lol. Angered DC Fan started an online petition to shut down Rotton Tomatoes.
rottentomatoes.com: Shutdown Rotten Tomatoes

"We need this site to be shut down because It's Critics always give The DC Extended Universe movies unjust Bad Reviews, Like

1- Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 2016

2- Suicide Squad 2016

and that Affects people's opinion even if it's a really great movies"

Even if it's a really great movies (How about learning English 1st? lol)

Batman seems to be the only one DC can get right. And I believe a lot of that was having Ledger revolutionizing the Joker character as a legitimate domestic terrorist to start the new Arkham trilogy; Nicholson was too light hearted.

-Aquaman seems like the angle they should be pursuing as something a bit original. Underwater Atlantis? A lot cooler than most of the stuff they've been producing.

Ah man.

I was hoping this one would be good.

If it's true, which I'm inclined to believe it is due to some huge missteps from DC, I am very sad that great characters are being squandered.

I was considering going to see this but the reviews have really put me off. The only good thing to come out of this is the Joker/Leto memes.

It might not be a great movie, but if the idea is entertaining, and you are keeping up with the DC story, why not? I finally saw Fantastic 4, is was TERRIBLE but I watched it.

Rotten Tomatoes is garbage I never pay attention to critics.

But to get a worse rating than the fantastic four is extremely concerning. That's one of the worst movies I have ever seen. In fact I got it as a gift and I threw it in the trash. Can't tell my mother in law that but that's how bad that movie was.

It's just a film review aggregator. There are positive reviews for this movie believe it or not. Jeremy Jahns, a well known and very popular movie reviewer on Youtube, loved the movie.

Yeah, I was on the fence about going to the theaters to see it too. This pushes me off that fence and staying home.

Far too many blockbuster movies that were huge disappointments this year.

I'll watch it down the road but will not waste my time with this cut in the cinema, apparently the original that was show two months ago had a coherent story, more Batman and a lot more Joker. Disappointing.

I'm still going to see it.

Sounds like critics are trying to murder the film before fans even get a chance to check it out.

I wasn't expecting it to be great, but the fact that so much of it seems to be riding on the shoulders of Jared Leto's Joker kind of worries me.

I did not enjoy Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor at all, and the trailer they showed of Batman recruiting for the Justice League like he's trying to sign recruits to his football program was also a big turn off.

That's what I said about Batman v Superman :(

Speaking of that, anyone checked out the Directors Cut? Any better?
