Definitely read the rest of the article, this is the most comprehensive piece done on Jaylon's recovery process yet.

Here's another good snippet.

Every one of us on this board can flex our toes. None of us can shed NFL blocks. This isn't a package deal. If this is the bar we're setting, we're all in for a major disappointment when the pads come on.

I dunno, I dont read his comments as all that optimistic. The majority of doctors opinions who I saw on this subject said one of his biggest obstacles would be avoiding injury in the foot area while trying to play with a brace FWIW. I claim no medical knowledge except what I read so dont shoot the messenger.

Name 5 LBers that could run better than a 4.50 and could shed blocks coming in out of college. Willis is the only one I can recall. Smith was better than most at stack and shed even if he was not driving back OG like McCLain could.

Anywho this is a passing league in the 2010s not the running league of the 1980s.

Just please get camp started. I'm so freaking ready.

When we have people watching Thanksgiving day losses from the 1990's and have 30 page threads about a player punching someone... it is time to get this MoFo started.
You forgot the 20 plus pages about Darius Jackson who is like the Jimmy Smith thing all over again.

Not an AFO? The manufacturer of the Richie Brace begs to differ.

From their site (www.richiebrace.com/index.php/products/the-richie-dynamic-assist-brace.html)

THE RICHIE DYNAMIC ASSIST BRACE

"A dorsiflexion-assist AFO for Dropfoot* Conditions"

DESCRIPTION:

The Richie Dynamic Assist Brace is a custom articulated ankle-foot-orthosis with two spring-like hinges, medial and lateral, to provide up to 15 degrees of dorsoflexion of the foot at the ankle joint during the swing phase of gait.

That isn't the only brace that they make.

Please don’t provide evidence that contradicts the narrative.

Besides the Richie ones have “go faster” stripes. :p

Should be very close or at 100% football speed and skill now. I have no further worry about his ability to play at a high level. He still needs to learn how to play NFL ball but that will come and likely very quickly. I want to see him in pass coverage though. I don't expect significant limitations but I want to see him play.

As far as Jaylon's recovery is concerned, he seems to be doing well. I fail to see why some here act as though they aren't pulling for him. In any event, he'll be tested much more thoroughly whenever TC, preseason and the regular season commence. Let's try to stay optimistic until then, unless you're intent upon being a subversive malcontent. We're all Cowboys fans, are we not? C'mon, man . . . ;)
