Still can't believe we didn't bring in a better LB than Durant. Especially now with Wilson almost a guarantee to get suspended at some point. I have no idea if Jaylon will play or at what level, but there almost HAS to be a certain level of doubt and it the front office hasn't really done anything to back that doubt up. Hitch is a valuable backup with versatility, but I really don't want to see him playing MIKE on a full time basis for long stretches.

Yeah obviously the exact scenario couldn't have been predicted, but it didn't have to be a guy hitting someone with his car to leave us very thin/questionable at LB. It could have just been a run of the mill camp injury and we're in the same situation. If Jaylon can't go full time and Lee goes back to his injury prone self we could easily be screwed at the LB position. A more reliable vet should have should have been brought in. Thankfully it's still not too late, someone decent will likely be cut at roster cutdown time and hopefully we pounce on them...or bring in Daryl Washington for a look.

We've all been saying this in multiple potential FA LB threads in the NFL Zone. I was specifically addressing your Wilson statement.

He wasn't wearing a tape job jumping the hurdles ie no AFO to be seen.

Outside of that I said there was no proof he was wearing one. My saying no proof of one does not mean it is impossible.
