LOL, that might be a felony in some states. If that therapist was your daughter you'd want to pull a Loraina Bobbit on the dude. !! I'm just making jokes now.

Once again, you guys are jumping to conclusions.

Ray said maybe they froze. I merely pointed out that it's unlikely that all 19 froze.

He might be for longer than that.

If that was my daughter she'd have told me and charges would've been filed a long time ago. One thing for sure, the fact that this was let to go on for so long is utterly ridiculous.

Yes, it is ridiculous. But it also happens to be SOP in certain cases. See Bill Cosby and a number of other people as well.

This is a different time. When the Cosby things were happening, people simply didn't talk about it. Not true at all any more.

exactly. Back in that day it simply wasn't even done ..it truly was taboo for a potential sex vic to come out and talk about it largely. You may know horror stories as I do of women back then being put into mental hospitals for speaking up on these matters or even getting knocked up while being unwed. It was truly cruel back then. My mother told me how they handled this stuff back then...instead of listening to them, they might have THEM taken into "protective custody" and evaluated at a mental ward. I'm not kidding. I am so glad we are passed that nonsense. The stigma was "she was askin for it." back in the 70,80's. Nowadays, its ok to speak up.I'm not saying we should blindly believe all these women, but I am saying the investigation being done is just. Let the facts come out.

Sadly in some areas the pendulum has started to swing too far like it always does. What really angers me is that the same types making SO much noise about this sort of thing now were SILENT back then.

I think Darnold going to the Panthers shows that teams are obviously backing off from a trade for Watson. Maybe they’re seeing it as a really bad situation for him. I mean, obviously it’s not good, but maybe this shows a bit how the league is seeing it.

Things are really starting to get heated. I still want to afford him due process. However, the evidence is starting to weigh more favourably in the direction that the allegations are indeed true. I think that he should be put on the NFL Commissioner's Exempt List at this time. Things are very bad for Watson atm.

No team in their right mind would trade for Watson right now. The circus that would ensue would be ridiculous. Besides that, his consequences, if any, are unknown. So no one is touching him right now. No pun intended.

Oh, I completely agree. But the potential of landing a franchise QB or elite players often makes teams do things that would indicate they are NOT in their right minds.

I too agree with you. There might be 1 or 2 GMs in the league that give a damn about what he did. Even sponsors that drop him couldn't care less. They care about PR and losing money. Once he has "paid his price", or is deemed redeemed, someone will sign him. That time isn't now.

Make no mistake it is because of his talent. If he wasn't as talented as he is he would probably be out of football for the rest of his life.

There is no need to place him on the commissioner's exempt list at this time. The Texans don't need to request to do so now and can wait until closer to the start of the season to make the request.
