Even if Dallas doesn't get the #1 which is unlikely, just for the Eagles not to have a bye would be great

Yep, make the Eagles at least play out next week, even if it will be against a Giants who'll probably bench most of their starters themselves.

Not particularly wishing it upon them, however, losing Sweat is one of the 'benefits' of pushing them to the end.

How? Washington can lose this week and win next week and finish at 8-8-1. If Green Bay loses this week and wins next week they finish at 8-9 and so do the Lions. If Seattle splits their last 2 games they finish at 8-9 as well. That would give Washington the 7th seed, wouldn't it?

GB win makes both GB and Det 8-8, they play eqch other so will be ahead at 9-8 and own 8-8-1 tiebreaker

GB needs to win today don't they? If Was wins next week they are 8-8-1, GB loses today and wins next week they are 8-9 and Detroit is 8-9.
I stand corrected… I for some reason thought they were winning big today…That Washington game might mean something next weekend

True if all those things happen they'd be in.
