Stidham....yet another Texas HS QB

I wonder how many have played in NFL games this year?

Has to be at least a dozen

Yeah, there’s been a long list. At least 2 have Super Bowl wins and played for the same high school, Nick Foles and Drew Brees. Westlake Texas high school.

So who would you rather see get the No. 1 seed: Philly or San Francisco?

I know you don't. Just take it all in. It's cool. Happy New Year.
Yea. its all entertainment. One team can rebuild multiple times and go to SBs, the other cant....for entertainment and business decisions. LOL

Seattle might be missing Russell Wilson all the way to the playoffs, other than Herschel Walker the trade was the crime of the century. (just remembered Walker trade was last century duh)

But Hurts isn't 100 percent.
I think we wasted a major opportunity, but I'm shifting my focus now.
Now my perspective is we're in the playoffs. What we do from here on out determines whether we are Super Bowl contenders or pretenders.
If we have to do that on the road, so be it.
Super Bowl teams triumph against all odds.
This is our chance to prove it; otherwise, we didn't belong in the first place.

And there are a few examples where road warriors won the SB.

Steelers in 05
Giants in 07
Packers in 10
Bucs in 20
49ers nearly won three road games last year

Detroit and Green Bay will play for that finale wild card spot in the NFC. Might be 4 games New England/Buffalo Tennessee/Jacksonville Ravens/Cincinnati that will mean something. ESPN might have hit the jackpot for Saturday.

But those teams were all mentally tough....we aren't.

Aren't the Lions eliminated with a Packer win today? I tried to tinker with the playoff machine

Two teams with records of 8-8 and 7-9 get to face each other for the division, while we're 12-4 and unlikely to win our division. Seems totally fair.
It wasn't too long ago the NFC East had a team in the playoffs with a losing record. Washington 2020 7-9 record.
