You can pick one poor game from pretty much any quality team in any season but on the whole their D has been excellent. Did Bosa miss the Chiefs game? Maybe he didn't but I thought he missed a game or two this season without looking it up.

Eagles' defense isn't god enough to win the Superbowl but those claiming Hurts is a Jag are smoking some weird stuff. He's one of their best players and knocking on the door of being a legit top 10 QB in the league.

And if you go by the sportsbooks, he's one of the leaders for MVP or Offensive Player of the Year.

Why is it silly? Their run defense isn't good enough to win the Superbowl it gets gashed open in most games and earlier in this game they potentially had a serious injury to one of their best players in their secondary. The D just gave up 20 points to the Packers in one half - an offense that has struggled to score 20 points in each of their last 6 games. Not really a silly statement if you actually think about it.

Over the course of the season Eagles rank top five in defense--both in points and in yards. One crazy game doesn't make their D garbage.

49ers defense is the cream of the crop! Their LBs are insane.

I think they are the team most equipped in the league to slow down the Philly offense. They can stop the run and their LBs are great in space and would shut down some of these Hurts' scrambles.

I think we have a really nice D ourselves but I don't think we have the LB play outside of Parsons to consistently handle what Philly would throw at us with Hurts' RPOs, runs, etc.
