I've heard of plenty of people getting it for $24.99/month for both ST and Superfan. It is possible. If at first you don't succeed, try another operator.

not sure if this is allowed, but there's a website I visit called slickdeals that has a thread on success stories of people getting ST and SF for $24.99 (and how they got it). In that thread, also has lots of people who had trouble, but the key is persistence and try again if you can't get the CSR to give it to you.

If you have Superfan w/ your NFL Ticket then you will be able to watch games streamed to your iphone or other supported device.

I can't wait. Sometimes I can't be home to watch the game. Now I won't miss any.

I am currently under contract and just called to see about getting the free premier with sunday ticket for $59.99 a month for 5 months. They wouldn't do it, but they offered me Sunday Ticket at 24.99 a month plus free super fan. So $150 total for Super Fan and the Ticket. Certainly works for me, now just have to wait for the contract to end in October to demand a free HD-DVR or i'll "switch to fios"

$279.95 all in all is not bad. That is a little over 17.00 a game. Anyone who has gone to a sports bar knows full well they will spend over 17.00 and you have to put up with loud mouth knuckle heads as well. Add to that you get all the games instead of some poor matchup that you get stuck with many times on the local coverage. Sunday Ticket is still a good deal in my opinion

Just called and had them reduce it down to 24.99 per month with a 6.00 credit for six months for my DVR service. So basically 18.99 for the Ticket, Super Fan, and free Showtime for 3 months.

Called DirecTV. Told them my salary has been reduced and looking for ways to cut my expenses. Told them I'm looking to cut the NFL Sunday Ticket, can they help me with a deal so I won't have to?
I currently get the NFL Sunday Ticket and the Super Fan HD package for a total of $381 for six months.
After talking to a representative, they agreed to give me a reduction on the Sunday Ticket AND allow me to keep the Super Fan HD package.

I'm now paying ...

$130 for the entire six-month package. I didn't have to haggle or threaten or anything. I just spoke very calmly, stated my intentions and they worked with me.

I would recommend telling them how the economy is hurting your wallet.

They wanted to charge us $350 and starting charging the account already. We called them up and cancelled it because every game but two were on regular tv. I figured for the money saved, we can go to a bar and watch both Arizona and Dallas play at the same time.

Well I did my annual call last week to complain on the principle of paying for Superfan when I already pay for Sunday Ticket and HD service and got them to give me a $20 credit for six months plus free DVR ($6) for six months.

Then today I called again and said that I checked my finances and I still didn't think I'd be able to afford it at this time at that rate because of having troubles from a work injury (which is true) and that I'd need to cancel the Ticket. The lady waived the Superfan fee so now the $20 + DVR credit now count towads the regular cost of Sunday Ticket.

Superfan = $0
Sunday Ticket = ($44.99 - $20 - $5.99)/mo = $19/mo. x 6 mo. = $114.

A total savings of $255.94 or 69.2%.

absolutely press for Superfan. You should pay no more than that between $125 and $150 for the total Directv and Superfan package. Unless you a new customer, they should work with you....

You guys are expensive I can leave a sports bar after watching a cowboy game and be out the pocket only 10-15 dollars.

I guess I am just cheap but then again I tend not to drink a few beers so that save me some $$$$
