Nice try putting some perfume on some crap.....still smells like crap. Why do some people here keep making excuses for this team? They get enough coddling from Jerry and the FO.
Let me ask you this........you honestly think we will see the effort and motivation against the Bucs that we saw Sunday? I don't.....

NOT win.....pre-season mode. Never thought of this until my neighbor ( Eagle fan ) mentioned and it makes sense ( he made some good points ). Remember odds makers gave us only a 1% chance of getting the No. 1 seed and I think an 8% for No.2. In other words, there was almost no chance of the Giants and Cards winning. Here's the question he asked......what if both games were played at 1:00 instead 4:00 and we knew before the game they both won. How many starters do you think would have missed the game? Once it was clear during the week that the Giants were resting their starters vs Eagles A team the priority probably shifted from going all out to win vs avoiding injuries. Guess what, that's exactly the way we played....... does this make any sense.
So Dak playing almost the whole game and throwing 37 times means Dallas was playing to avoid injury and not win the game????

That is one of the dumbest things I ever heard considering if Dallas won and Philly lost Dallas wins the division and gets the #1 seed. If your BS theory was true why bother playing starters?????

People get dumber and dumber on here just to defend Dak's poor play.

....I agree here. I feel Dallas comes out fast. Throwing in some new wrinkles. Nothing to lose now, but go home...lol...

Completely pathetic performance headlined by our "star" players and our team "leaders". Looked to me like a team that still thinks it is Ok not to play hard if you are not in the mood. These teams do not typically last long in the playoffs.

You're the first poster to even mention Dak......why is that?

100% bs. Sundays game was for the small chance at the 1 seed and the division. Yes, we want to avoid injuries but you always want to avoid injuries and getting a bye week for our guys would have been huge in helping guys get healthy. They prepped all week for the game having meaning and they came out flat and unprepared.

I’m not a doom and gloom guy but that was a terrible loss. Whether the eagles won or not didn’t matter because we never even had a chance.

That’s not the question….the question should be why does a team who has accomplished nothing in terms of actual meaningful winning come out and not give it their all on the slim chance of a bye? I

You don't think they knew the Giants were resting starters and the Eagles were playing their A team to win? This means we literally had no chance at winning the division

No, it doesn't make any sense. We played our starters to win the game. They Dak was awful. The WRs were not much better. The OL was bad.

Kellen Moore and MM should be embarrassed.

You left out two other phases of the game that sucked. Defense sucked. DBs played like crap. Special Teams was the worst of the season. All 3 phases of the team were terrible.

That’s not how nfl players think….that’s how fans think. Anything can happen in the nfl and quite frankly the giants came an onside kick away from getting the ball back and going for the go ahead score.

Furthermore if that’s the mentality the team has that “the eagles will win so why try” the team is in more trouble than you think

If that’s the case then playing guys all day shouldn’t have happened

Mission failed. Bland is hurt. Parsons looked beat up in the first Q. If you are going to play guys, they should play to win.
I didn’t want Micah to play myself
But if you put guys out there you play to win
They just kicked our butts and that was against our starters for the most part
If that was the mission it was a bad mission
Just don’t play guys if you want to protect them

but why then leave starters in. pull them after one quarter. bland got injured. we should have put Joseph in instead and protect bland and diggs

And the Commanders had what to play for in this game?
Didn’t seem to affect them in the same way.
You also ignore the fact we haven’t played well for several games now.
The bottom line is we’re not a good team at the moment and there ain’t much time to reverse that.
