Yeah, Jerry may have been doing us a favor all of these years. Losing early in the playoffs or not making it suck.

Getting to multiple NFCGs and SBs and never getting a trophy is catastrophic.

We haven’t won a SB in 28 years. 49ers have been extremely close since 2011 and haven’t won a SB in 29 years. Ouch!

They’re still a very well-run organization and they lost against a top 3 QB of ALL TIME. The Cowboys just choked again in the wildcard against Jordan freaking Love as 7.5 point home favorites.

He did not play good lol….but he’s a young QB. He will get better.

The flip side of that though is as he gets better he gets closer to getting a vet salary which also means everyone else around him is not as good so you have to play better to even compete. Now is the time for them while he is on a rookie contract.

With the new OT rules, why would you choose to receive if you won the coin toss? Every advantage is to the kicking team.

The receiving team can't beat you with their possession. If they make any mistake, you can win with a score. Even if they get a TD, you can match it, and you have 4 downs on every series.

If the NFL was scripted, it would make no sense for them to have such a sad script for their flagship organization. Cowboys being more competitive would be good for the NFL.
