Honestly, you can put the chargers down as a W right now. Because they're defense along with their head coach are horrid. If we don't put a 40 spot on them, I'll be shocked.

If we lose to Kellen Moore, I will be depressed!!

He’s a Giants fan
To his credit, Giants fans are more likable than the 4 (That I know of) Philthy fans we have here. We have 5 but that 1 is not too bad. He brings something to the table other than crying all the time when we win. He did predict we will be stomped out by the 49ers. It's been noted.

Dallas has the toughest schedule left in the NFL.

Cowboys toughest schedule left

“Starting off in Week 5 against San Francisco, the Cowboys defense will be facing off against the toughest remaining schedule in the NFL.

The 49ers are the second-ranked offense in the NFL, with the Chargers coming in just two spots behind in fourth. Following those two matchups, Dallas takes on the eighth ranked Rams and the 10th ranked Eagles, giving them a four-game stretch against top-10 offenses (all EPA numbers per rbsdm.com).

After battling the seventh-ranked Seahawks in their post-Thanksgiving affair, the Cowboys defense faces the Eagles once again, followed by the No. 3 ranked Bills and No. 1 ranked Dolphins. That’s yet another four-game stretch against top-10 offense”

Maybe the single most overrated thing in the NFL. In a week to week league it's impossible to look at the schedule and predict a W or an L.

For example: the Cowboys went to the desert a double digit favorite.....and lost. To a team that started a back up QB.
Good point

And in a few weeks we could be in the middle of the pack or just above it.

Want to be the best, beat the best.
This is why tough games do not bother me, regardless of the results.

Good teams find a way to win tough games, especially those that matter such as playoff games.

However, in this case, no matter if they win or lose Sunday, it will only be one game and it will not define their or the 49ers' season.

As the Cowboys, and unfortunately Cowboys fans, have learned, beyond making the playoffs it does not matter what your regular season record is or what playoff seeding you have.

While getting a higher seeding is nice, good teams can win games on the road so the only important part of the regular season is winning enough games to get into the playoffs.

While a win may be good for a confidence boost for the team and an ego boost for the fans, the reality is that the 49ers game is just another game.

Winning the game would improve the Cowboys playoff chances, while a loss would just reduce the number of losses they could have the rest of the season and still make the playoffs.

Its what they need. Might now have the best record, but will be battle tested when we get to the playoffs. If we deserve to.

Like the old NFC East days.

This is the problem with the NFL's parity schedule. The idea that the best teams from last year play the best teams from this year has major flaws because teams can change so much in 1 year. Even teams that were injured last year and come back healthy this year can make a big difference.

The schedule should be fixed. Every team in a division should play the same teams. They would have to make some adjustments to the schedule to accomplish that but it is the most fair way to see who is the best team in each division.
I tend to agree with this - Dallas getting the Lions instead of the Vikings is a good example - but to do that, you'd have to have a much longer schedule.

OP, you suck. Sorry for being that direct. Are you that scared in other aspects of your life too? Must be a bummer to be you, lol.

I call myself a more sceptic realist, but your obnoxiously negative posts are beyond anything I have seen around here.

Strength of schedule does not illustrate itself until after the game.

Teams are only bad cause we beat them. Remember Detroit last year? We beat them and they went on a crazy winning streak. That Jets team we beat this year is a good team. L
