scott Case is lighting people up..LOL
I'm with you. Even in this game, there was a play where the Steelers had 3rd and 20, and they threw a short little pass to the back or a slot WR, and Deion did the biggest ole I've ever seen, letting the guy go right past him for a 19.5 yard gain. Pitt then went for it on 4th and got the 1st down.theebs;1993877 said:Its on again.
I get almost no happiness from this game. Deion Sanders then and now irritates me to a level I cant even explain. Every win was bitter sweet for me that year. IMO there is nothing likeable about sanders.

He took alvin harper out of the game in the 94 NFC title game and made key pass deflections and an INT in the game where he out ran the freakin ball. Do you people think we sniff the bowl if sanders wasn't signed after kevin smith blew his achilles. Hate on sanders all you want, but he got the 49ers over the top in 94 and proved his worth in 95 with us. I could careless if he could tackle, he got paid to cover.

Those two throws by Neil O'Donnell to Larry Brown were unbelievable. On both throws it looks like Brown is completely out of place and O'Donnell just throws them right to him.
Thank God. The Cowboys almost self-destructed in the second half. Losing to the Steelers in yet another Super Bowl would've been devastating. Have Brown or O'Donnell commented on what exactly they were thinking on those plays?
BTW, I feel sorry for Kordell Stewart. He was such a good athlete and he played that 'Slash' position so well. When he went to full-time QB it was just too much pressure. He could've played at a high-level for years if he hadn't had to play QB.

I believe that started when Jimmy walked out the Valley Ranch doors.Boyzmamacita;2000579 said:It was truly the beginning of the end.

Or maybe deep down inside, I knew it was the end of our run. Michael Irvin ran around the sidelines in celebration after the game. A month later, he was busted in that hotel room. It was truly the beginning of the end.

On a play specifically designed for this Super Bowl, the Steelers lined up with three receivers to the right. In the past, two of those receivers had run slants to the middle while the third ran to the sideline. This time, all three ran slants and coordinator Ron Erhardt said Mills was so wide open that “if he caught it he’d still be running.” Instead O’Donnell’s pass slipped out of his hand and went directly to Cowboys cornerback Larry Brown, who had been frozen by Mills’ move and was covering nobody.
But the Steelers came out throwing. O’Donnell’s first pass was incomplete; the second was another one that went right to Larry Brown in a case of the quarterback throwing to a spot instead of holding the ball and making sure. Brown returned his second gift interception to the Steelers 6-yard line. Two plays later, Smith punched it over for the clinching touchdown in a game that would end, 27-17.
