The Philadelphia Eagles have won 3 NFL Championships! But many fan (everywhere) will say ...
- Championships back then were not as important as the Supebowl
Championships of today.
- They'll tell you that football players back then weren't as talented, not
as tough and not as big as they are now. In a nutshell they minimize
those accomplishments of the past.
- Technology has allowed players to maximize their strengths and skills on
the playing field
- Championship games back then don't count anymore because too
much time has lapsed.
Yet ...Superbowl dynasties seem to hold more esteem than Championships of those NFL pioneers. But couldn't the same argument be used for Lombardi recipients of the 80s and 90s.
What happened to football dynasties? Are players so evenly distributed throughout the NFL that competition, and match-ups are factors in having one team dominate. Was it easier to obtain Superbowl championships when a team is loaded up with playmakers, and giants of the past.
The Dolphins went undefeated, the Cowboys, Patriots, and Steelers are teams that hold the prestigious right to be call "Dynasties." Will the NFL ever see another dynasty? Or will an NFL dynasty become a thing of the past?
What team will rise up as NFL Dynasty in 2006 ...and Beyond. Could It be a foreign team like England, Canada, Mexico, ? Or will those team's of "old" step back up and claim their rightful place as a dynasty.
