I'm not one of his truthers, but I think the kid has a role and thought we might see it expanded this season.

He's got like 15 touches this year, and I don't remember the last time I've even seen him on the field.

Kinda surprising. (to me)

Nothing surprises me here. MM told us that Leupke was gonna be a big part of the offense....not true.

Last season he told us that he took over play calling so they would be more of a rushing offense....another lie

He told his wife that he was going to lose 80 pounds so he could see it again...another lie

He made some good blocks for Dowdle on a few of his runs Sunday. Not being used much as a runner or receiver, though. Schoonmaker came on a bit, so they seem to be leaning more into two-tight end sets with Ferguson's return.

Hes averaging right around 20 snaps per game so hes playing more than most people probably realize. I think the issue is that the Cowboys simply have more effective players to get the ball in their hands....last year he had 6 attempts for 19 yards. This year he has 9 attempts for 23 yards. Small sample size and im sure some of those carries are short yardage situations that will drive down the YPC but overall hes just not great with the ball in his hands. Even Zeke is averaging more yards after contract on average than Hunter is and is probably the better player for those short yardage carries.

Not really, with Jerry forcing Zeke down our throats and McCarthy’s inability to get certain players the ball, Luepke’s lack of touches is not a surprise.

He's been on the field as just a fullback. IIRC he was out there quite a bit run blocking vs Carolina.

PFR had him on the offense 23 snaps last weekend.
interesting, thanks. must be me just not paying attention

Maybe the person calling the plays has no idea how to use him.

Hunter does have 10 catches for 110 yards. Most are dump off passes while he’s in for pass protection.
He’s got a little something something after. He catches it

I thought Big Mike would've at least use him like he did with John Kuhn (sp?) in GB. Luepke has a ton more talent than Kuhn did.
