This boils down to Dallas not being a 'sexy' team. By that I mean, most people still fail to acknowledge the impact the offensive line has on football games. Dallas' bread and butter is they dominate the LOS better than anyone else in the NFL, and slam it down your throat with the best chain moving RB in the NFL. That's not sexy, it's why people consider offenses like Atlanta and the Packers on another level... because they throw the ball around 45 times a game and put up big passing yards. No one wants to talk about offensive line play, but it's what makes us who we are... and why we had 12 win and 13 win seasons two of the past three years.
The other part of this is Jason Garrett is still not respected by the common lay person around the league. They see him as a puppet for Jerry Jones, when the reality is Jason Garrett has knocked down the structure and built it again from the ground up. He has provided a clear message and vision for everyone in this organization. Cowherd mentions in the video how this league is about parity, what he fails to realize, as many still do, is that the Cowboys have built their team from within and set themselves up from sustainability. Dallas has seemed to have cracked the code on NFL parity. Now, there will need to be more evidence brought to the table to prove this (another highly successful season) but more people will realize this as the success comes. But Jason Garrett has been invaluable to this organization.
