Where did Cowheard get the stat that Dallas is 4-6 vs Philly in the last 10? Shouldn't that be flipped?

I believe you are correct, nice job...

Reading & listening to these so called football guru's each and every year is so old/boring. For starters, when they predict the Cowboys 2017 will not even come close to their 2016, that's just words from a hater. After all, there isn't one of those guru's who predicted our 'Boys would end up 13-3 WITHOUT Romo in 2016. That said, what's makes them think they're predictions are correct for 2017?! Besides, the only one who can "project-ed" the outcome of any teams season, is God.

I'd be highly impressed if this team has a year anything like the last one. It would silence all doubt that they are legit.

I think we're in for a rough season. Injuries, bad bounces, poor QB play, healthy Hitchens. Just one of those years.
IMO, our 'Boys silenced a lot of haters last season by showing they really are "legit" when they spanked Green Bay IN Green Bay & Pittyburger IN Pittyburger. This team is only going to get better. They are the future powerhouse, they're already showing signs of being inimitable.

This boils down to Dallas not being a 'sexy' team. By that I mean, most people still fail to acknowledge the impact the offensive line has on football games. Dallas' bread and butter is they dominate the LOS better than anyone else in the NFL, and slam it down your throat with the best chain moving RB in the NFL. That's not sexy, it's why people consider offenses like Atlanta and the Packers on another level... because they throw the ball around 45 times a game and put up big passing yards. No one wants to talk about offensive line play, but it's what makes us who we are... and why we had 12 win and 13 win seasons two of the past three years.

The other part of this is Jason Garrett is still not respected by the common lay person around the league. They see him as a puppet for Jerry Jones, when the reality is Jason Garrett has knocked down the structure and built it again from the ground up. He has provided a clear message and vision for everyone in this organization. Cowherd mentions in the video how this league is about parity, what he fails to realize, as many still do, is that the Cowboys have built their team from within and set themselves up from sustainability. Dallas has seemed to have cracked the code on NFL parity. Now, there will need to be more evidence brought to the table to prove this (another highly successful season) but more people will realize this as the success comes. But Jason Garrett has been invaluable to this organization.

His prob coaching is when the team has a 2 week layoff. The team always comes out soft 1st half, and has to play catch up 2nd half.

which is really weird when you think of it. We start the season usually playing very well and that first game gets a lot of coaching attention. So a bye should play into his strengths.

So many are making so much of our tough schedule but the real reason is that many think Dak cannot be as good two years in a row. And looking at history it is very rare for any QB to have back to back years as good as that. What they are ignoring is that even a 10% statistical drop (and we know he is going to have some more Picks then this year) would still make it an outstanding season.

Correct. They were wrong.

And not that matters now, but they were way off when they said they averaged about 8 wins with a healthy Romo and 8-8 was the norm. The opposite, actually. 8-8 was the very worst they did. They never had a losing season and averaged way better.
Records were
10-6
13-3
9-7
11-5
8-8
8-8
8-8
12-4

Someone call me when home field advantage returns to being a good thing for the Cowboys.....that alone will improve the season.

until garrett can coach this team to more than one playoff season is a row and make deep playoff runs this is how him and the cowboys are going to be viewed under garrett they have won only one wildcard playoff game to get respect in the nfl you have to win in the playoffs consistently you have to have consistent regular seasons of wins there have been a few consistent winners over the last ten years or so like the seahawks and packers and of course the pats

If they would have brought up the point about us blowing up our secondary and stuffing all rookies back there and our division getting tougher offensively, sure.

So really, 6-3 plus one meaningless loss.
