Video: Surprised Dak Prescott's Cowboys are projected to win less than 10 games?

D on paper looks improved? How so? Aside from 2-3 starters it's a bunch of question marks.

Last year no one said our d improved either. And it was better in the redzone and better in sacks towards the end of the season. We have much better overall depth on paper. We won't now what that means until the preseason games.

Unless the pass rush just improves by leaps and bounds this year, I see our rookies looking much like Claiborne, Carr and company. I do expect our offense to look better, especially with Switzer, unless Dak and Zeke have a huge sophomore slump. I see us as maybe 11 and 5.

I think 10 wins could well be a quite acceptable scenario for us this year. Let's face it, our defense will have its back to the wall to prove they're sound enough to help garner more than 9 or 10 wins vs. the tough schedule we'll be faced with. Realistically, the many changes defensively and the youngsters to be inserted there should rightfully make them somewhat vulnerable early-on in the season.

Offensively, I think Dak might well be much improved in several areas of his play and Zeke's year two should be fittingly beneficial to him, also. It'll also be intriguing to see how Switzer is able to fit into an offense that could conceivably be even more productive than last year.

If our young defense is able to get past the first half of the season with surprisingly good results, I could readily see where more than 10 wins would be possible. Also, a deeper penetration into the playoffs certainly wouldn't be out of the question, either. To me, anything more than that would be utterly fantastic, imo.

I don't watch college games, so yeah the rookies are a big ? to me. From what I've read about them tho, I think we made the right decision. I'll also spike my Kool-aid with the fact that we don't face any offensive power houses* until October. That should give Matt, Joe & Greg enough time to get the rookies clicking. Those D coaches really wowed me last season.

*NY had good receivers last year to go with that D, but their O still wasn't very good.

I think we'll still be the team to beat in the East this season.

We didn't learn anything new from this video. Garrett is a bad coach when there is something on the line, or when he is under pressure when things are not going his way. Furthermore, he still hasn't learnt clock management.

Well maybe he will eventually "learnt" it, or "get his learn on"!
