I'd be highly impressed if this team has a year anything like the last one. It would silence all doubt that they are legit.

I think we're in for a rough season. Injuries, bad bounces, poor QB play, healthy Hitchens. Just one of those years.
It wouldn't exactly be a surprise because the Cowboys have a habit of finishing off a good year with a poor one.

I don't buy the crap that Garrett is a bad coach. Bunch of BS.. I'll listen, if you say he was inexperienced and is learning on the fly.. but like the other man said, he took a rookie QB to the best record in the NFL after his pro bowl QB went down, he won Coach of the Year, and was one miracle play by Rodgers/ one 'no call' hold penalty on Irving away from beating a red hot GB team and making the NFC championship game! And for him to say he wants Garrett to find ways to win games without his starting QB! Wow! Really?! What would the Saints do without Bree's? Steelers w/o Big Ben? I could go on here.. but even my Grandmother knows you can't win games in this league without your starting QB...of course New England would be the only example, but unless your willing to draft a QB almost every year, like the Patriots do, then I guess every coach in the league falls under 'the bad coach' status

Much tougher schedule, iffy defense, weaker offensive line, and more on Dak this year.

9-7

Thinking that changes

Dallas hasn't strung winning records together since the 4 in a row at the start of the Romo years
10-6
13-3
9-7
11-5

That Streak ended in 2009

Now its Daks turn! Time for a new streak:flagwave:
And with this younger and rising group, deeper playoff runs hopefully.

I tend to think the D pressures the QB better and the oline is about the same.
But yes, a tougher schedule and a bit more on Dak.

9-7 would be disappointing. Hoping for better, for sure.

I say 11-4. Our OL won't be weak, just because we lost Free and Allen leaving. Dak has more weapons on offense, the offense will be more tailored to hs game this year. Our d will be much better overall. More depth.

Excellent ' Rant' and 'like' worthy based on that merit alone,,,,
But let's be fair in the General consensus that Garrett wasn't forced to field the average n.f.l. rookie quarter back o.k.?
Dak Prescott donned his super Q.B. football playing mask and cape when the emergency backup phone rang, and grabbed another gear that many football Enthusiasts would consider generational.:starspin:

We have seen a major regression by the last two Cowboys playoff teams so it's not that far fetched. I'd be happy with winning the East, even with 9 or 10 wins.

I see it to be more "hope" than "projections"....they have nothing whatsoever to base this on.

The Cowboys will be stronger this season, better OL, Zeke n Dak more experienced.

D on paper looks improved.

Cowboys going to make another run, just need to make it to the big dance.

:flagwave:

D on paper looks improved? How so? Aside from 2-3 starters it's a bunch of question marks.
