If i remember .....wasnt rumor that BP was ready to tag Wilfork and when he went to the pats right ahead of us (they trade Up?), then he pulled the cord on the Bills trade down..........??????memory is good, just short...

supposedly that is what happened.. i know pats took him right in front of us.. also if branch is there i say we DEF take him.. NT is the most important position in the 3-4, does all the dirty work. With ferguson getting up there in age Branch would be a great back up to bring in slowly... NTs usually need a year or 2 before they become beasts.

I disagree here completely!
He showed up against top competition and was always sure handed.
I would be happen to see Dallas pick him up in the first.

I'll admit... The Miami TE impressed me at the Combine. Yeah.. I know it's just a combine. I'm not sure about taking him so high though. Then again, I never watched him at the U. I'm just going by what I witnessed at the Combine.

Hard to know for sure. As I recall, I was sitting there and thinking that Dallas was going to end up getting a chance at Vince Wilfork, Shawn Andrews, Steven Jackson, and Kevin Jones.

As it turned out, New Englad grabbed Wilfork and Philly grabbed Andrews. Dallas decided to pass on Jackson for the extra pick and ended up getting Julius Jones and Jacob Rogers in the second round while adding Demarcus Ware and Marcus Spears in the first the next year.

didnt turn out that good huh. lol spears(possibly a bust and might get replaced by ratliff this yr. not a good thing) julius (decent but nothing special, more carries he gets the worse he is) i wont even mention rogers hahahaha

maybe dallas should have beent he ones trading up
