Since our new DB Coach, Joe Whitt was hired, all I have heard is he covets big/long corners, with elite speed. Bryan Broaddus, even mentioned it on the draft show the other day. Before he even mentioned it, I've heard the same thing a few times when reading up on both Quinn/Whitt after they were hired.

This suggests (speculation), that Patrick Surtain's skillset might not be the type of corner they covet. They already have a quality corner who can cover the so called X Receivers, who has speed limitations in Trevon Diggs, they may want to pair him up with more of a elite, speed type on the other side. Players like Farley, Melifonwu (who had a terrific week at the Senior Bowl) are better fits. Something to watch during the process.

Diggs ran a 4.43, not exactly pedestrian. Surtain’s size, technical prowess a fluidity he’s not off anyone’s board especially this teams. He’s damm near perfect combined with Diggs for the zone scheme they’re going to run!

I see absolutely no way how none of them are there....the top 10 is going to be offense heavy based on needs. I could see probably 1 or 2 teams going defense.....but there's no way these first few teams are skipping QB and going defense.

Hand times? Cool...so add about a tenth of a second to it and that probably closer to what he would’ve run at the combine.

4.53 is right around what I would’ve expected.

I think they should move Robinson back to CB asap. Will McClay likes big CBs too, so they all should be on the same page.

I think Robinson has been a forgotten prospect but does possess the size and skill set to succeede in Quinn’s defense.

I think it depends on how the draft plays out but if it were me, I'd take an LT if the one I liked was there or I might trade down. If one of the QBs slipped, that I liked, I'd probably look real hard at that.

It may surprise you, but I actually agree. I have said in other threads if Dak's long-term agreement isn't completed before the draft, you to think about taking a QB.

Not surprised at all. I never saw you as somebody who didn't pay attention. I just saw you as a poster that didn't agree with some of the conclusions I had come to. It's not a personal thing for me. If you can't work out a deal that works for everybody, then the only reasonable alternative is to begin the search again.
