That is how I feel about it, just get it over with. Sink the cost, there is no way he will prevail. Let it taint just one season.

Very glad we're getting the suspension over with this year. I think Elliott got shafted in a big way (despite the fact that he foolishly put himself in the situation) but, based on precedent, it was never likely that he would serve no suspension at all.

Serving the suspension at a later date when we hopefully have an improved (if even mildly) defense and, as a result, an improved realistic shot at taking down great QBs in the playoffs would not be ideal.

No way I can give Zeke a 2nd contract with him already serving a 6 game suspension in just his 2nd year. If we finish with a top 5 pick I'm drafting Saquon Barkley. The NFL will suspend Zeke for anything now especially after he admitted to using some pretty serious drugs in college.

I can’t begin to describe how tired I am of courts and politics being at the forefront of the NFL. I’ve missed one Cowboys game in over 10 years before this season. I’ve missed 2 this year and it hasn’t bothered me like I thought it would. Hasn’t really bothered me at all honestly.

Barkley is the best player in College Football and he's actually an upgrade from Zeke.

I understand that - but obviously it's looking far more likely that he'll serve the suspension this year than it did a couple weeks ago. IMO, that would be a positive thing going forward as far as on the field results go.
