That clown filed a lawsuit against the NFL. I don't think he has a chance of proving collusion. It seems obvious that indivual teams just don't want to deal with the distraction he brings because he's not good enough to make it worthwhile.

This.

Him and his legal team most certainly do NOT have the type of evidence needed to PROVE collusion.

His NFL career is effectively over. This is a legal Hail Mary.

Well, maybe Kaepernick and his lawsuit against the NFL can get the CBA revoked.

Money is temporary, your reputation is forever....

The NFLPA has forgotten that.

My opinion Kaepernick is being used for a social agenda hurting the sport. He can do all he wants outside the field of play , but as evidenced by attendance etc this on field stuff is not the place to mix politics with sports

So frustrating. Even if it is overturned again it is just hovering over the team.

If Zeke is innocent he has every right to fight this til the death. I'd say it's his responsibility to do so even.

If he's truly guilty of what this woman says, he will likely be in trouble again. It's rarely a one-time thing if he did such monstrous things.

I don't care about the politics of it, I'm not talking politics. I just want the corruption removed from my football which I see coming out of the Commissioner's office. If the CBA gave that man too much power then the CBA should be revoked and renegotiated.

I'm not a baseball fan but gave the NL playoffs a shot. It fit the bill. Like they say "baby steps". It's easier since apparently the DC suk this year.

I've been watching some Aussie football. Now THERE'S a sport. Reminds of games we made up as kids.

Their season is over but you can stream some of the games, or at least highlights of games.

I think Elliott should show up at the facility and play in the game, and the Cowboys should defy the league on this one. Now is the worst time to cancel a football game, or whatever the NFL thinks the consequence should be.

The NFL has no basis to suspend him on this. (FOR THE INCIDENT IN QUESTION, they could suspend him for many other things he's done, though)

It may also be an attempt to get a financial settlement from the NFL in exchange for dropping the case. It could be the classic case of a small law firm convincing a knucklehead client that they can get a lot of money from a "deep pockets" defendant.

If the NFL was ruthless, they'd send a guy to drug test him by surprise on Wednesday.
It'll be a bloodbath either way.
When Seattle was pissing off the commish during their latest Super Bowl run, Rog had Earl Thomas who was fighting a couple of serious injuries at the time "randomly tested" right before XLIX.

I wouldn't say it possible Rog does this, I'd expect it!

Fat face loser Zeke has been a flat out disappointment. Nothing but distractions and BS. RB's don't win games, they don't even move the Vegas lines. No explosion at all, he's just a grinder. If this was my team, I would run Zeke into the ground for the rest of his time here, then just draft another RB. No way I give that guy a second contract. He brought all of this on himself. Every bit. Bad decision after bad decision. Don't associate with skanky women. Especially if you have that much to lose.

There is no way the current CBA gets revoked. I know that is what Kaepernick is suing for but it is not even remotely in the realm of possibility.

I do believe the NFL/CBA will be under scrutiny, because of the lawsuits. They should lose their charitable designation IMO. Never understood it. All Goodell and the NFL are doing is shining light where they don't want it. It can't be a good look, and the more the fight the more they look guilty IMO. Personally think Kap sucks as a QB, but there needs to be changes made to the league, CBA.

No it is Mark Geragos as his lawyer ..... he is the opposite of a small law firm......... he is pseudo celeb big shot.... a Gloria Aldred type...... he is probably doing this pro bono for the exposure

Kap just wants his 15 minutes to continue

I don't know what you mean by "their charitable designation" but the Kaepernick case is not going to consider any of the unrelated lawsuits. (My suspicion is you think the NFL is designated as a charity because they used to have status as a non-profit entity, but even that no longer applies as the NFL got rid of their non-profit designation 2 years ago)

The main reason I have no doubt the CBA is safe is because the process to invalidate a CBA would take years of arbitration, appeals, court filings, more appeals, etc. This current CBA only has 4 years left anyway, and a proceeding to invalidate it would take at least that long if one particular side were interested in dragging the whole thing out.
