, never cared for Gibbs, and will continue to nurture an undying hate for your team...gotta give a shout out to your fanbase. I mentioned this week I felt yours is one of the best fanbases in the league, but this season, your proved it in spades.
I check in at your site at least two or three time a week, to read and snicker.
This season, you won your first three games, and then adversity set it, bigtime.
You lost to Denver and KC, the Jints, TB, and even Oakland, like us, only at home. You did the AFC west hat trick and lost to the Chargers. Your sterling start turned into 5-6. Then you hit a nice easy stint with St L, Az, and uhh, 'us'.
But I noticed reading your board, your fans never gave up. The usual "football has passed Gibbs by" and "bring back Ramsey" crap. But on the whole what I saw was undying faith..tho I snickered at the "if we win out" stuff, I was also impressed. It wasn't homerism so much as never say die-ism.
I hope like hell you tank and lose big to the Jints next week. The only thing worse than missing the playoffs for me is missing them and seeing YOU in them. I also hope the worthless Eagles beat you the final game.
But your fanbase has once again earned my admiration.
You deserve a winner, even tho I hope it doesn't come in this millenium.
