I wont gloat so much as point out how many times over the past week or so I read the Commanders have no pass rush, zero pass rush, blah, blah, blah.

This game was a long time coming and it feels great.

Hail2daskins! On a great win for you guys. The Commanders were well prepared and really executed. If they had played that way all season they would be top of the heap, but at least they are peaking at the right time -- just before the playoffs. I think you have a good chance of making the playoffs. You would have beaten the Giants yesterday.

I thought the Eagles was the team to beat and I didn't think any team in the division could do it. I thought the Boys would be second and then the Giants and the Commanders. Both the Giants and the Commanders have really impressed me. The Eagles will be back next year because they will be over their injuries. The Giants and Commanders are going to be competitive for a long time. I doubt the Eagles will regain the division crown however due to the emergence of the Giants and Commanders. I hope Dallas can regroup, have a good offseason and can be competitive next year as well.

<Both teams are still very much alive...>

Do you honestly think that if we couldn't beat the Skins on the road and we lost by 4 TDs, that somehow we will travel again for another road game in NC and will miraclously beat the Panthers that are leading their division? If we couldn't get up for the Commanders, a heated rivalry, I don't have any faith this team will get up for another game unless it is for SL. We have to regroup and make some changes in the off season and hope to do better next year.

Listen ,the Giants are far Superior to the Commanders, I know that you are on that Postgame high becuase you beat us, but it's plain to see that we are lame, the Giants won't show up flat and Quit in the First Quarter!. I think you get like we got this week: A reality check.

i'm feeing pretty good about the giants game. eli has thrown 2 TD's and 6 INT's in 3 games this month- 2 of them being home games. and most surprising, tiki hasnt scored a rushing TD away from giants stadium all year. as a team, they have won 2 games away from the meadowlands- against the niners and an OT squeeker vs the eagles backups.

i like those odds. ;)

I am so glad that the board management allows this to be stickied.

I am sure Extremeskins would be so gracious.

Would you rather have 50 threads with the same general theme? Just curious.

It sucks to see it, but then it sucked watching that game yesterday.

Besides it's only temporary.

You take the good with the bad.

Just noting that Cowboy fans would never get the same courtesy elsewhere.

No doubt. And we shouldn't expect it.

But then that's why we're the class of the NFC East, despite the funky smell coming from DC. :(

Yea, I'm feeling pretty good about the VaGiants also. They are a TOTALLY Different team away from the Meadowlands. Fed Ex is a nightmare for opposing GOOD teams (Bears and Seahawks in 05, Seahawks in 03, Colts and Titans in 02). The Giants are already false start prone and 90,000 wont help. Unless another owner of theirs dies, then we should do pretty well. Gibbs will have us prepared and will have our guys "fight their guts out". Classic NFC East, whoever "Fights their guts out" the hardest wins.

We came off a good win that we can build off of. Too bad Sunday we didn't get to see our future, Jason Campbell.

Landry in the 1970s had one year when the Cowboys had about 10 or 11 rookies and he made it all the way to the Superbowl.

Jimmy Johnson started from scratch in 1989, went 1-15, 7-9 (would've been better if Aikman hadn't been hurt), then 11-5 and a Superbowl the next year, and the year after that (he could've had a couple of more if he had stayed).

Parcells, at least the Parcells of today, is nowhere near as good as they were.

Cowboys fans don't realize the good luck they've been blessed with over the first 40 years of this franchise.

Hey dont forget Switzer! Didnt he only win one less SB than Landry?!

Woulda been tied with him were it not for that darn 1st quarter in S.F. ;)

I think some people would put Campo and Gailey in there too LMAO!!

Nah, that stuff is in the past, we cant continue to hold on to those 5 Trophies, we gotta figure out how to be a good team and organization in the Post-Salary Cap Era.

I tell you one thing, this may be uncharted territory for Parcells, I dont know his history that well.

Man, I just hope he fires some high level assistants when this season is over.

Yesterday was not too far removed from being like that first quarter in San Fran, wasn't it?

Having Switzer compared to Tom Landry whether serious or in jest just turned my stomach.

those two should never be mentioned as a comparision in the same sentence, paragraph, page, day, week, year or lifetime... ever

Time to go find the rolaids now
