Do you think the Cowboys can sweep the NFC-E. I'm not sure when the last time they did.

They have the Commanders and eagles left. You just know that the Commanders want to spoil the Cowboys, and the eagles are still in the hunt.

I know the Cowboys need to focus on the Bears and are not worrying about the what comes next, but with this team, what chance do they have to sweep?

We can lose to the Commanders and it won't matter, but the eagles is the team that needs to be eliminated.

IDK, I think Dallas can do it.
I wonder what the situation will be IF Dallas has the division won before the final game.

The NFC East has only been swept twice. In 2004 by the Eagles. In 1998 by the Cowboys. The one by the Cowboys was 8 games as the Cardinals were still in the Division.

Hey, bro. Thanks for the info. I just think that it would go a long way for the Cowboys to get a sweep of the NFC-E. Take care of business first. Beating the Bears is going to be hard. Same with the Packers. That will be fun to watch.

Will the Cowboys sweep? It would be a really good goal for the Cowboys.

If we lose on Monday, we will probably have to sweep. It would be a really impressive feat, given the defensive and historical impediments.

I would guess sitting the starters but due to injuries, that won't be an option :( For some positions anyways.

I'd rather not play the Carolina Panthers or the New Orleans Saints in the wildcard round. So if that can be avoided by winning the final game, I say play the starters.

I think we beat the Bears and Packers. I think we win at least one of the 2 NFC-E games. We should win in Ole DC. That leaves Philthy. We need to win that one, or we may win the division no matter what happens in that game.

I think we win 3 of our last 4. A division game is likely the one that will be the loss in this scenario.

It could happen...but I'm talking about sweeping the NFCe not just outright winning it.

I think this team needs to turn a corner and win out. There is absolutely no reason that the opponent should win the next 4 weeks. None.

Yes, they could sweep the East. Will they? Good Question.

BTW, Giants fans will claim they swept the East in 1997. However, that was the year they tied the Commanders in the Gus Frerotte head bang game.

So, no soup for you!

Something good for this Dallas Cowboy team and reputation will help if they can get the broom. Not talking about getting in the playoffs. They will lose a game, but which one?

Ha Ha, I was at that game. I had my in-laws tickets and took a friend of mine that was a Giants fan. Here I am a Cowboy fan, with a Giants fan, sitting in my in-laws Commanders season tix seats. I had Gus on my fantasy team that year. I was cheering for the G-Men simply because I hate the Skins with every fiber of my being.

I would much rather play the Panthers @ Home than a 49ers team getting their weapons @ WR back.
Panthers offense is okay, good run game... okay pass game.
Even with Kap struggles..he has Boldin , Crabtree, Vernon Davis, Frank Gore..and that monsterous D to lean on.
Cam is better than Cap..but their offense isn't that scary..I trust scandrick on Steve smith and etc.

There was fantasy football in 1997?

I wanna win out. I wanna sweep the East. I think we can do it, but will we do it? I think its most likely we end up losing one of our next 4 games. In that scenario its prob a division game. Which one, I dunno.

I was in a league but not online. It was a group of guys at church that started it.

We had 4 categories on offense:
TD's
Passing yds
Rushing yds
Receiving yds

We had 4 categories on defense:
Sacks
INT's
Punter avg
Tackles

LOL...yes. You actually had to work at it, though. Use NFL magazines to pick players and look up their stat lines in newspapers and such.

Remember playing with my step dad way back when. I was only 13 so I didn't take it all that seriously.

The Giants did not sweep the division in 1997 but they did go unbeaten 7-0-1
