Switzer

Big fumble today. Still a rookie but Number One Priority is holding on to the bass - especially when returning kicks.

Switzer is a clown.

FRom watching that stupid workout video to seeing him play-clearly not a smart football player
He's still a rook, but those guys get coaches fired. I'd rather see Beasley back there as bad as he is, but doesn't make dumb decisions. He did it in week 1 and got away with it

This is what this defense is. Vanilla but keeps opponents from scoring touch downs. Once offense fails to carry, we done.

everyones golden boy, basically 15 yards lost on kickoff returns and a fumble on a boneheaded punt return, cost the game

my biggest concern is because he is so short it really neutralizes what looks like he is running fast but in reality NFL players close on him very quickly. I am not so concerned with fumble...it happens. Worry more about how he gets very little separation from NFL players.

He can't keep fielding kickoffs 9 yards deep and run it out....I cannot believe Garrett hasn't addressed this.

Garrett has made numerous poor decisions for someone that has been around football and some of the best coaches in football literally his entire life.

He needs to mature ASAP.

Even on the Jet Sweep, there is no desire to turn the ball upfield. He just seeks to get out of bounds.

Idk, short arms, small hands, small stature I'm a little worried about the fumble. I think Beasley is an anomaly in this league

YES!

Seriously players on this team make same mistake over and over and over again.

I never did like the Switzer pick. But wasn't going to harp on it all off season. We needed a LB. I still don't like the pick. Lee was out, so we really needed that LB....lol...
Now maybe he will learn from this, and maybe he will get better. This loss stings because of stupid decisions like that.
And that partly or mostly, depending on how one looks at it. Comes down to coaching. Also in game adjustments, we do not do that either.

Now I am not a Garrett lover, nor hater, but defended him more than put him down.
But really been feeling this year, maybe it is time for an entire new coaching staff if they can't get this season on track and get us deep into the playoffs.

Long way to go, but it is looking like it will be a very long season.

If he has to be coached to not take it out 9 yards deep he shouldn't be in the NFL

I never understood why we needed a Beasley lite in the first place. Draft picks being as valuable as they are, and defensive needs being what they are, why would we spend a pick on him?

Never saw a non 1st rounder be guaranteed so much before providing any.

Lucky Whitehead didn't do what we saw today.

It was definitely a massive screwup, but it wasn't the only thing that cost us. This was another team loss.

I'm cracking up now imagining someone out there holding onto a "bass" while returning a kick

Besides Switzer, what was that other Cowboys player doing standing right next to him interfering with his ability to field the ball?

“I was assessing where I was on the field and didn’t end up catching it cleanly,” Switzer said. “It happens. Not the first time I’ve done it. Won’t be the last. Obviously, it’s a big play in the game but I thought we bounced back well.”

what kind of nonesense is this..first he says..not the first and wont be the last...sounds like he is preparing

us for more blunders..( stupid comment )...then he says ..its a big play but i thought we bounced back well....

sorry everyone...maybe a pro bowl vet can get away with saying these things this but not some dim wit rookie
