yes he reminds me of #22. He cuts and makes the first guy miss exactly like #22. He is a tuff cookie too.

I don't think he's anything like Bullet Bob Hayes at all.

I see some similarities as well, especially the excellent vision. I also like that he just seems to love the game and is a natural leader and competitor. He is very vocal (in a good way) and players feed off of that stuff. He reminds me of the heart and soul of those 90's teams, Michael Irvin, in that regard. I'm not saying that he will ever touch the success those two HOFers had, but he does share some positive qualities.

I think about the personalities we got rid of (whiney Ellis, devisive Owens, the punk Pac Man, All-Talk Tank) and the youthful energy we have going now and I feel optimistic. Our two best players are as classy and professional as they come (Ware and Witten). We have loads of veteran talent (Romo, Ratliff, Newman, Davis, Barber, James etc). We have youthful energy and talent (Felix, Bennett, Scandrick, Jenkins, Choice and a hungry group of rookies who were playmaking, productive, leaders in college).
Another good thing is that the whole "fat cat" sense of entitlement we had going last year is long gone. We're now underdogs. I love it. This season can't get here soon enough...

As Parcells would say....Let's not put him in the HOF just yet. I really hope he lives up to the hype but I have been burnt before by the next Emmitt Smith.
Theres no hype. As far as the media goes nobody says a word about TC.

Barber is the heart of this Offense. He is the closer. He is irreplacable at what he does in getting the tough yards.I am simply stating Choice reminds me a lot of #22 when he was young too. Barber reminds me more of the Hines Ward of Rbs.lol.

Yes, nothing like getting a team fired up when he puts his head down and pounds a LB'er and runs over him, to get that 1st down.
We need him and players like that....he has no fear....

Something tells me Choice will get plenty of carries this year...
I almost hope he doesn't, that would mean that Barber and Jones are healthy and being productive. I think that more than any player on the team, we NEED Felix Jones to step it up this season. Nothing pisses off a defense like a multi-purpose RB that can take it to the house anytime he touches the ball.

What I noticed about Choice and loved this past season...he always got yards. Even on the busted plays he'd put his head down, bounce and avoid initial contact to at least pick up a couple of yards. Nice to gain 2-3 yards on busted plays. Just watching how smart he runs makes me think he'll be the most special out of the 3 backs we have in the future.

I made this same comparison in training camp last year. He runs compact like Emmitt does. He's deceptively quick, has a huge heart, plays smart, and has a similar body style.

There's nothing wrong with saying a lesser player's style reminds you of an all-time great. The people here all know that, but for social reasons, they'll tell you it's too early to make the comparison.

Roy Williams, physically, reminds me a little bit of the Playmaker, too. The way he shields his body and aggressively goes up for the ball. He's similar in terms of his speed, too, though RW is probably a little bit faster than Michael was. I won't get into evaluating them in terms of their heart, so nobody gets embarrassed.

I need to watch it. I'm getting less tolerant by the day.

But the same thing happened when Tony Romo took over for Bledsoe. Everybody saw the similarities to Brett Favre, and if anyone commented on them, they got clubbed with a flurry of 'not so fast' posts. Nobody was saying Tony Romo's going to be as good as Favre was. Or that TC is in the same neighborhood as Emmitt Smith. They're just saying one player's style reminds them of an all-time great. It's a pretty innocuous comment, really.

TC does remind me a lot of Emmitt, for the record. He still needs to be #3 on the depth chart, though.

really and truly, Choice reminds me of choice.

I watched pretty much every game emmitt ever played in a cowboys uni and I haven't ever watched choice and thought "looks kinda like emmit."

but to each their own.

maybe I should watch some highlights because it's not fresh in my mind, sucks getting older.
