Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan ran a 4.48-second 40-yard dash at his Pro Day Tuesday.
McMillan is often discussed as one of the top wideouts on the draft board, someone likely to be selected in the first 20 picks. This is a great time for him considering his 6-foot-4, 219-pound frame. McMillan has drawn Drake London comparisons along the way and, while he won’t be a burner outside, should be able to be a productive rookie wideout. Depending on where he lands, McMillan could push for WR3 consideration in 2025 redraft leagues.

not saying this didnt happen in a private workout but the BIG 12 will have their pro day in Frisco from the 18 through 21st including several Arizona players.

Told you he looked fast in pads to my naked eye. He wont mske it to 12.

I just can't get excited about this. It's just more of the same from this front office. They'll run out a bunch of nice skill guys and then their defense will suck because they have JAGs and bums playing at DT and LB.

My rant is more about how stupid they are in FA. You sign a guy like Poona Ford at DT instead of a washed Solomon Thomas and then suddenly taking McMillan at 12 is more exciting.

it's a private workout attended by many NFL team, not sure if the cowboys were represented.

I hear you but I would rather pick BPA than force a need pick like Jihaad Campbell or Mykel Williams.

That’s like a 4.5. How is that anything special. Expected
The big boost to his draft stock is that he didn't run a 4.6. Tet doesn't have a lot of holes to his game - frankly, he looks pro ready to me - but long speed was the big unknown on his eval. So posting a decent 40 time is like subtracting his last negative.

I won’t be upset with Tet at 12. He’s the only WR in this class that has “alpha”/#1 WR ability imo.
With that said, his straight line speed shouldn’t really have been in question. It’s more short area quickness and agility to create separation. There’s no doubt he’ll be a good vertical threat that can win 50/50 balls, just a matter if you believe he’ll develop into a 3 level target to be truly great.

That's probably equivalent to a 4.5-something at the Combine. It's a good time for a receiver with his size and his playstyle. He's not a burner, he just needs enough juice to keep DBs honest.
Definitely. This is great for Tet - exactly what a team would hope for (he is not too slow) and expect from their first round WR.

I still see him being an option at 12.

This was is only hurdle for me, he had to run in that 4.5 range to be considered.

He's a cross between Randy Moss and Anquan Boldin. Big long wr with huge catch radius that has a knack on using his size to gain the advantage on 50/50 balls. But can separate too. But is he a top 10 guy? I think he might get down to the teens in the draft.
