anything to get gallup on the bench. he's one of the worst performers in the entire league. we all see he runs like jason witten out there. here are some stats.

our wr situation is dire. i don't know how we are scoring so much. offense is working miracles out there.

Gallup is not fully recovered yet from his ACL surgery and it is showing badly.

It usually takes guys 2 yrs to fully recover, I expect Gallup to look way better next year.

.....and that followed with TRomo acting like he didn't know him. What a friend.
This should have been the meme.

If I knew he would be kool in the locker room and he can still fly then maybe. He could take top off every time he is on the field. Run the secondary to death. Every once in a while throw it up to him.

They both turned 32. They are both incredible athletes.

Dez broke his leg and then tore his ACH.

once the speed/legs go, they are done.

which is why THilton is such a surprise signing. He still has speed.

HMMM I must not have been good in math So Dez was born November 4th,1988 and you say he's 32 years old?

While we are here, Terrell Owens was born on December 7th 1973 and you say he's 32 years old?

Google can be your friend before you reply.... LOL

Id rather take TO than OBJ .

Same locker room poison , but at least TO is cheaper & a HOF .

Signing TO was one of the worst decisions Jerry ever made and it set the team back several years.
I think it's more complicated than that. I'd argue that nobody owes T.O. more than Tony Romo. I believe he was instrumental in making Romo a superstar. On the flip side, I believe he had a huge part in Parcells bouncing. A move that ultimately cost us a Super Bowl appearance in my opinion.

I think the only Cowboys WR to ever have a better 3 yr run (statistically) than T.O. was Dez.

I'll be honest, I have no problem with bringing the old dude in for a tryout. What could it hurt? TY Hilton and 3rd and 30. Who expected that?

..lol..TY is 33. Still gas in the tank. TO is basically 50 yr old.
NFL exponentially puts more yrs on you, the older you are.

...why call, Jerry? I mean, there's Buff, SF and GB. Rodgers could maybe use him. ;)..

bringing a guy who has been out of football for over 5 years, is almost 50 and you don't think that's a circus!!!! we are getting ready for playoffs. do we need a circus? do we need distraction? Hilton was a FA, with less than a year out of football and he never had any circus around him....come on now....

This could all be an effort to land a future book deal. There are a tiny number of professional sports team athletes who retired, were inducted into their sports' Hall of Fame, unretired, and played competitively again.

Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Jim Palmer attempted a comeback the year following his 1990 induction but was injured in spring training ( link ). A handful of National Hockey League Hall of Famers unretired and played like Mario Lemieux ( link | retired 1997/played again in 2000 ).

Will Terrell Owens gain any measure of post-Hall of Fame on-the-field notoriety that he might be able to capitalize upon financially? Or will this all end as a mere forgettable footnote in NFL history? Stay tuned.
