From the article:
Cowboys ex Terrell Owens, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, wants to play in the NFL again and become the oldest player to do so.

Legendary Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens is eyeing a potential comeback at age 49 and has set his ambitions on playing for the Dallas Cowboys for the second time, according to NFL sources.

What are the odds Jerry would even give him a tryout..? Don't get me wrong, I don't think there's any way in hell, Jerry would actually sign him, but do you think he'd give him a tryout..?

I may not have a popular opinion, but I liked T.O. as a player when he was here. I can admit he was terrible for morale, & "the locker room", but he did produce. I'd even go so far as to say, he had a LOT to do with Romo breaking out. There haven't been too many WR's have a season like he did.

3 seasons (2008-10): 38 TD's, & 3587 yds
TO Trolling Jerry Lmao

Stephen Jones is famous, (or is it infamous?) for saying talent acquisition is 365 day 24/7 endeavor. Giving him a tryout doesn't hurt anything. He might surprise everyone. They didn't call him "the freak" for nothing.

I never said it was anything to do with his talent. He’s in the HOF for that. It’s being a locker room cancer that I have problems with.
He is not coming to Dallas.....this is a Ringling Bros Circus act that is attached to the publicity machine known as our team. And if he wanted to, the answer should be no.

Not sure why TO would want to come here anyway........Jerry invited him to dinner to release him, already.
I get the "cancer label" granted to him elsewhere, true or not.

But during the Dallas tenure:
Our two leaders went to Cabo before a playoff game.
And there was a members only BFF group.

Will the real locker room cancer stand up?

Hard to believe that he'd walk away from all the opportunities with the Knights of Degen in the Fan Controlled Football League for the NFL. And I'm sure that his release from the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League for not giving a poop on or off the field is behind him---especially since THAT was a decade ago. And as the only player in NFL history not to attend his own Hall of Fame induction doesn't mean that he's batcrap crazy or anything--along with the hundred other stunts he's pulled. Why, adding an obnoxious nutbag approaching the half-century mark is just what this team needs heading into the playoffs.

Nah, he's not worth the air and space to even give him a tryout.

TO wasnt a problem for the Locker Room. He was a problem for Jason Garret's "yes man" regime- and he was right!
But whether or not he can still play, I don't know.

Lot of writing that is saying nothing about your claim that he ran poor routes. Stop reaching. He is not coming to Dallas, but let's be real about that claim.
Not just me genius. Follow the thread and you can read the article by a HOF writer. I am sure your TO the zero man crush will not be diminished.

Dan Pompei of the National Football Post writes that a front office man points out that one of the reasons Terrell Owens will be moving on to his fourth team in four years this year is he doesnt always run his route the way he is supposed to and he leaves a lot of gray area for the quarterback. Last year, he led the NFL in most interceptions as a targeted receiver with 12, according to Stats, Inc. What’s more, he has led the league in the category with 43 interceptions over the last five years. And another issue with T.O? He was third in the league in drops last year with 11.

I always thought TOwas a great over the middle receiver. Running catch. But this team needs to focus on its playoff run right now and they don’t need a drama, sideshow circus going on right now. And bringing TO in, that’s what it would create. The media circus, and everything else would be on TO. And not the Cowboys focusing on the playoffs. Not to mention I’m sorry, I’m 50 years old myself. My prime athletic days are well behind me. And yes I work out and train daily and I consider myself extremely fit. But once you hit about 40 your reflexive start slowing way down. Your body via your ligaments and tendons are not as flexible as they once were. Things break and snap much easier. Football is a young man’s game. That’s just the reality of it.

Genius?.......I can't tell if TO was HOF WR or QB now......since all the interceptions must have been his fault? Genius?

A “tryout”? Sure, why not. This team should be holding tryouts all the time anyway. Leave no stone unturned.

Right. You just never know when injury is going to hit. A 49-year-old TO might be a better option than an injured OBJ if we lost a receiver.

our wr situation is dire. i don't know how we are scoring so much. offense is working miracles out there.
