Let it be noted that I didn't suggest we do it :) It was a fun hypothetical, that's all.

He might be needed in an emergency...

But...been there, done that.

Owens can be a solid #2 or even #1 on most nfl teams. He's without a job because his negative reputation, not because he can't play. Now I'm not saying Owens didnt influence that reputation, but in my opinion it is greatly exaggerated. I knew it was over for him when Dallas let him go. He was the perfect Scapegoat for Jerry and the fans. It still bothers me that people still think Owens was one of the biggest reasons for our failures.

T.O. is a physical receiver who is great after the catch. He does not have great hands anymore (if he ever did). I'm really not sure he's a #1 for anyone anymore. Maybe a #2. I tend to agree that his trouble making here was exaggerated. His last couple of years here it seemed he had trouble getting separation at times. I agree that what we have now at #1 and #2 is better than him. The only attraction might be as the 3rd. But Robinson has looked pretty good there to this point.

He was the scapegoat and I was surprised when he was released. I honestly think we kept the wrong WR (Roy Williams). At least TO was productive. But TO doesn't have anyone to blame but himself. He initiated his own demise. just because you don't agree with whats going on doesn't mean you have to tell the whole world about it.

Just watching the T.O. interview on NFL network. Remembering that he was "good" T.O. at Philly for one year, and in Dallas for one year. Of course he always ends up being a distraction in the end.

BUT..... if Garrett could have a conversation with him, and we could get "good" T.O. (I'm talking personality not ability) for just this year.... would anyone take that chance?

"Good T.O." has not been around since 2007.

With Laurent Robinson coming on as he is, there's no need to get anyone else.

Nope. He's not better than Miles or Dez and i'd rather have Laurent Robinson at this point.

That sums it up for the Cowboys. I do expect Terrell to be playing for a team this season. Somebody will snap him up sooner than later. A team that needs a spark to boost ticket sales most likely. Maybe the Rams.
