T.O... I blame YOU / Drops

We know that you are giddy that the Cowboys lost, but instead of starting the half dozen threads we all know you will start how about keeping it all in this thread.

EDIT: In reply to natureboy

2 playmakers cost us this game. TO dropped touch down, and Roy Williams dropped interception.

true but he has had a lot of drops this year. very un-T.O. like

No, it is T.O. like. If you recall, a few years back, BP stated that T.O. has fault in his hand positioning when he catches. So, he does drop a lot, because he doesn't position his hands correctly.

I blame TO too. He had an opportunity on a perfectly thrown ball to put us up by 14 and break the Commanders' back, and he didn't do it. He better take the credit for the loss because he always does for the wins.

Ummm...yeah I do blame him. T.O. is paid to CATCH BALLS. If the defense was so good at catching balls, they WOULDN'T be playing defense now would they?

Go ahead...tell yourself it wasn't the most critical play of the game.

I'll do you one better and not even respond to you and your BS anymore

keep dreaming

Stop making TO the scapegoat for all of the losses by Dallas... This game was won ON PENALTIES...

No, it was lost on his EASY drop.

Penalties played a part, but he gets the blame from me big time.

He IS the scapegoat here. Did he drop an easy TD catch or not? YES!

Quit making excuses for T.O.!

That's because you can't argue when facts are introduced.

I take back what I said (about not responding to your dungheap of a posting spree)

if you're going to pin this loss on TO for dropping that pass, and just say that "penalties played a part" (all 10,000 yards of them), then you're lost

fact: TO dropped a TD pass
fiction: we lost because of it

He's dropped key balls in no less then two games now. Three for sure touchdown passes slipped by him. His fourth down drop againt the Giants and his falings against the Eagles that would have kept much needed drives alive. He seems to be as much a miss as he is a hit for Dallas. I've never seen a top receiver fair so poorly in the clutch.

you blame TO for ONE drop, when our Defense dropped like 80 INT's, got burned 1,000 times, had 1,000 yards in pass interference penalties, and forgot how to cover?

yeah, good call there Jimmy

Thank you.

Blame Roy, his cement hands and his horrific pass defensive abilities.

Blame that idiot for not knocking the ball down in the endzone.

Blame Parcells for not taking the automatic point and going for two.

To lash out at Owens is pretty short sighted and far too predictable. That ball was catchable yes but it was at his fingertip and he was going full speed...not as easy as it looks in slooooooooooow motion.

Catching it would have OVERCOME the penalties. Can you not see that? Or does your love for T.O. cloud everything?

Face it....teams CAN overcome penalties by having their supposed "playmakers" making plays.

FOX post-game just showed TO going off on Bill on the sidelines. I hope that display doesn't make the replay circuit.

I'm with Jimmy Johnson on Owens - his very presence on this team takes away 'focus'.

Good as he is, ROMO can get the ball to everyone. I'd rather see Patrick, Jason and Terry, and screw TO...that taunting penalty did it for me more than the drop...it proved he's not considering the team, his little endzone routine is much more important to him that 15 yards in a tight divisional ballgame.

Fact: T.O. dropped yet another pass
Fact: We lost by 3
Fact: Playmakers should be able to overcome teams' penalties.
Fact: T.O. has a history of being at the top in dropped passes.
Fact: The drop would have been a TD.
Fact: T.O. can do no wrong, not only in YOUR eyes, but in his own as well.

Fact: Playmakers should be able to overcome teams' penalties.

Ah yes... the great TO, in one catch, is suppose to overcome the team penalties that resulted in ALL of the points by the Commanders...
