T.O... I blame YOU / Drops

Another thing T.O chokes big time when the Boys need him the most. I would expect Irvin to call out his girl here real soon. He had no problems calling out #19 last year. Well #19 catches balls when he is wide freakin open and it is 4th and short. Or when he has his man beaten deep and the ball hits him right in the hands. T.O seems to catch everything except when the pressure is on and when the when the team needs it the most. That IMHO is not a big time W/R.

Sorry, but all balls come out like that.

They have to start from a low point initially. Duh?

It wasn't Vanderjagt's fault. He just didn't get any blocking.

As for TO, I know this is going to sound like hearsey to some, but I really don't see where he's helped us out all that much. Oh, he's made a contribution and helped draw coverage away so Witten can get back in the passing game.

But correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't Witten involved in the passing game when we had Vinny Testeverde and Keyshawn?

He really hasn't done anything, IMO, to singularly help us win a game. Contributor? Yes. Worth the $25 million investment? No.

So when do dropped passes and a low kick become the saviors of the team's fault?

The 2-pt. conversion try was stupid, but, in the fourth quarter, it didn't matter. What matter was they lined up and VAndy didn't get the job done, IMO.

true but he has had a lot of drops this year. very un-T.O. like
Actually the drops are very T.O. like.

He hasn't exactly had the greatest of hands through his career.

You know what I mean.

Yes I do.

Don't remember the fruity Leon Lett...I sure do remember some screwups he made while a cowboy.

TO has made had some huge drops in critical situations no doubt but he has the offense has been much more productive this year with him on the field.

Agreed. The offense is better with TO.... but... he has had 2 big drops now... both game changers.... changing the wrong way.. .we brought him in to change game the OTHER way...

I am a BIG TO supporter.... he is not doiing his job 100%... spending percentages on non-team stuff

He's a punk. And you can't count on him.

I never believed Vander was the person we wanted and when the Kickers started to sign elsewhere we settled for him.

However This was NOT his fault this time.
We had a chance to sign Adam V. He -should- have been our priority and we let him sign with Indy.

Had I been running things I would have been on the phone the minute free agency began and brought him in.

I was in favor of picking up T.O. in the offseason and am a fan of his ability however, I will call a spade a spade, that drop was HUGE and I believe ultimately killed us.

43 Catches

What don't you understand about being clutch and smart? Your TO defense posts lack any common sense - the man lost the game for us.

I agree but its hard to blame one guy or one play in a game where you could find a ton of other errors. This was a total team loss but I agree he needs to step it up.

T.O. does not have the most drops in the NFL. Jimmy needs to stop spreading fault information. T.O. should have caught that ball, but he did not cause this loss. In fact, he had some important catches and because he was being covered Crayton and Witten were able to get open and make some major catches.

Once again.

That miss was NOT HIS FAULT.

Geez

You might as well blame Barber for getting stuffed for a loss on third-and-1. "They gave Barber the ball, and he didn't get the job done."

Allright, enough is enough, I am sick of TO, he thinks he is the greatest reciever in football? Fine. Catch the freaking ball! I have no problem with TO acting like a fool and costing his team 15 yards after that touchdwon today but if he is going to do that he sure better make a catch when it drops in his lap! I gave him the benifit of the doubt in the NY game, everyone drops a key pass everyonce in a while, but that means once, maybe twice a season not twice in three games.

Furthermore, what has TO actually done, I have not seen him do anything no other reciever could not do besides juke around a lot, accomplishing nothing, when he actually does catch the ball. The catches he makes are catches any reciever makes, the moves and after the catch yards are also what any other reciever makes.

TO needs to look at his good buddy Drew and decide if he wants to start joining him, I have a feeling Crayton is going to be getting much more PT and TO is loosing oppurtunities to prove himself.

If I were Bill, among other things, I would put him on notice.

I'm not one to make hasty decisions but I'm starting to question if he has been worth the trouble. I didn't like him coming to Dallas, for obvious reasons but I accepted it decided to give him a chance. I know he comes with alot of attention but I was willing to overlook things if he played up to his reputation. So far, he hasn't been spectacular. Like you said, nothing more than any other #1 receiver could do. I really hope that he starts pulling it all together, especially with the action Romo is giving him.

I do. I thought it was absolutely dispicable. He completely premeditated that celebration knowing it was going to cost the team 15 yards in field position. It was one of the most blatant examples of an individual player putting his own agenda over that of his football team winning I have ever seen.

Yeah InmanRoshi.... you hit the nail on the head there... enough is enough with the childish responses and SELF promoting... everyone knows who he is... he is famous, he is rich, he is a great player.... not lets show it... very dissappointed in that drop.
