T.O. interview **Merged**

He had a goldmine here. In more ways than one - right owner, the 'right' coach, a partner receiver who not just doesn't squawk about not getting the ball, but befriends him, a talented young QB who can take advantage of a vet. good run game...

..instead he goes on tv to whine his hc didn't send him flowers when he ODed.

Geez, at leasts Parcells didn't text message him "OD on your own time".:laugh2:

Yep, I agree. TO has a real good thing, but it's never enough...

id love for t.o. to get hit today and be out for the year . yes i am a cowboys fan . never liked him and now it shows why i dislike him so much . get him off our team . pleeeease !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

double ditto... much to the chagrin of many TO will be back catching pases from Romo next year. His value on the field is too enormous. He hasn't rocked the boat here despite the continuous efforts by the media to contrive a boat rocking and the innate ability of the fans to jump on board.

You probably think Drew Bledsoe is going to lead us to the Super Bowl too.

Dont come talking about a drop pass here and a drop pass there.

Yes he leads the league in drops but anyone watch the Panthers today/right now?

Arguably the best WR Steve Smith has had several drops today in big time places.

A 3rd and short for a 1st down which lead to 7 points by the Giants.

And recently a pass through his hands which was picked off and turned into 7 points.

I'm not saying TO doesnt deserve any criticism but I am here to say all WRs drop passes from time to time. Even the great ones.

I'm just now watching the interview and I gotta say...

I really don't think TO understands what MLK meant with that quote.

So what? T.O.'s problem has always been his mouth....if he screams for the ball as much as he does, than he had better catch EVERYTHING thrown his way.

If he weren't screaming for the ball, I wouldn't mind as much....but it is when a player screams about getting him the ball and when it is thrown his way totally muffs the catch.

Noone born after 1940's could understand where MLK was coming from ....

Kids these days do not understand racism ....

I'm just here to let you know you won't get many comments in this thread by the TO haters. It goes against their deeply rooted emotions. I feel you man. Without TO we would not be 8-4. I love Romo probably more than anyone else on this boards and have pointed out his innate ability to find the open man and "spread the love" on more than one occasion. You remove TO from that passing game and things will undoubtedly tighten up. TO commands attention every time. Thanks to this other receivers on the field prosper every game and the wins keep right on coming. Romo is also starting to find TO more often on 3rd down as well to get those chains moved. This all doesn't matter to those that dislike TO though. They need a vice and BSPN provided a nice one today.

I still love me some TO. :starspin

Great post .... people do not understand how much T.O. opens for others.

I don't really think the quote pertains only to racism. It's a general quote that can be applied to many different situations.

IMO, TO is just looking for attention. He says "I'm not happy", then says "I wish I was a cowboy all my life". He contradicts himself.

Again, he's just looking for attention. He's never gonna be a "great guy". He just isn't. People shouldn't expect him to be.

Thats right .... he is a spoiled child who is a millionare .....

Let him help us win football games with his amazing god given talent ....

Just like Michael Irvin ...... loved the football player .... but would anyone here trust him to watch your kids?

Well, at least you've come around to 'just as much'/'IF not more' rather than insinuating Glenn doesn't command enough respect to get doubled.:D

I never said TG never gets doubled

just not as much as TO

here's a simple solution to most of these folks

don't listen to his interviews and read the recaps!

TO leads the entire NFL in dropped passes. He's being paid $10 million dollars this year. Surely you're not so much enamored with him that you'll excuse that.

He also has 8 TD's ..... only one WR has more.

If ANYONE else, ANYONE else went on national tv and said what Owens just said, which paraphrased is "I am not into the game and am dropping passes because I am not 'happy'", he'd be pilloried all up and down this board, and on any other forum on any other team as well.

If a 25 million dollar contract isn't enough to 'get you into it', then playing for the team you supposedly wish you had always been a part of would.

But it's just typical Owens - he is selfish to the core, and his crybaby emotional venting takes precedence over a playoff run.

"Betrayed".

Get off the cross, Owens.

You're no martyr.

i guess none of u remember what parcells earlier this week. you're getting sucked in, by T.O's comments. he says things to get the attention. seems like some of people have the same thing the media does. Hungry for T.O story, especially latunanostra. since glenn is basically obsolete with romo at qb except for one game.

T.O has been all smiles and laughs on the sidelines since romo has been QB. some of you just need to be happy with winning and less with what espn has to say. i see all of you complaining about the channel everyday but yet hold what they say so close to your heart that u have to complain about it everyday. give it a rest and enjoy the a-kicking they give teams on a weekly basis now
