Why did Bill give the press that story about Payton and what he did regarding story on the board? "Bill not happy with Payton"

You can call Bill on this just as you call T.O....... how different are they?

(Mods: instead of merging... I think this is a seperate discussion)

thanks

Yo Mick, Great name and picture,

I think Bill is being pretty honest about Sean, I mean Sean did try and rape this team in the off-season so it was nice to see Bill shed a little light on the subject, I don't think he really through him under the bus, The T.O thing is well it is what it is headlines tabloid journalism, thats it as long as we win we really shouldn't have problems, Real quick have you seen the new 2 disc Rocky set is it worth getting ,cause I have the boxed set and I really don't now if the new one has better extras features I figured 'd ask
"from another bum in the neighborhood"

Personally, I'm REALLY getting sick of all the debate on TO and the media and he needs to keep his mouth shut. And now this crap article about Parcells and Payton.

Did anyone WATCH the actual interview and/or press conference? There are some things that were quite obvious to me.

The reporter didn't know what she was talking about when asking the question about a "championship" speech. There wasn't a "championship" speech so TO says, very obviously tongue in cheek, I must have missed that. And in the locker room background you can hear several players laughing at his comment. Why did he miss it? Because there WAS NO such speech! Akin Ayodele even confirmed that the speech was about "don't believe the hype" and "don't eat the cheese". But the media NEEDS a TO story....they have to manufacture SOMETHING out of NOTHING.

And people that speculate that they know how TO feels and what he needs is just plain ignorant. Oh really Carnac the Magnificent...what am I thinking right now? You KNOW that TO has to be in the spotlight and he isn't happy because all the attention is on Romo? What? TO TOLD you all of this in confidence? No? Let me guess, TO called up the media and said hey I've got a funny joke about Parcells speech and I need you to take it out of context and spin it so the attention is all on me. <<sarcasm off>>

The same is happening with this story from Rick Herrin. Did you watch the press conference? It was plain to see that the comments Parcells was making regarding Payton and Keith Davis that there was no major tiff. But if you read that article that's not what is being insinuated. There is nothing in that article except someone trying to create a story and stir the pot.

Some people need to look up the word discernment and really work hard on developing that character trait. The ability to distinguish and select what is true or appropriate really comes in handy, believe me.

Honest, yes. But why give them THAT. (not really a big deal, but I thought thats stuff you dont talk about)

I just saw commerical for the box set... just another way to take your money... I would sooner get ALL the movies in a box set than just the two box set... they did that with Godfather a few years ago... released just Part 1 or something like that...

Whats funny is... he has another Rocky movie coming out and its like... enough is enough... but some will go and see it... I am sure I will... something about sequels.... gotta see them all... LOL (shhhh.. I have seen ALL the Jason movies - not in theatres.. .but seen them all) LOL

What are you talking about, I thought what Bill said in the press conference was honest about how he felt about Sean, I don't now what some writer wrote if thats what your referring to then disregard this, who believes the media anyway,

First of all I love TO, I think he's a funny guy, and one of the best if not the best receiver in the game.

A lot of these things that has happened to him are just stupid and any other player would have never felt the pressure from the media for doing them.

But why would he choose this time of year when we are on a hot streak to do an interview with Irvin complaining about how he's not happy and someone leaked information on him so he just doesn't trust anybody?

He claims he has dropped a lot of balls because he's not happy. BS dude.

Just when you think everything is going good in Dallas TO has to start with this crap.

It's clearly nothing more than wanting attention.

Our team is to hot and to good right now for Terrell to start complaining about crap that happened in training camp and early September.

For 10 mill a year he shouldn't be having these problems.

For 10 mill a year you shouldn't go on ESPN and air out your frustrations.

That was your problem in Philly right TO? Well please stop finding things to get upset about to get your face on TV.

Why TO why?!!?

All I care about is that our players keep there heads on straight and not let anything TO says bother them at all. They can try to be a good teammate to him and I understand he is friends with quite a few of them, so I'm taking anything he says with a grain of salt.

He obviously has an extraordinary need of the limelight, even beyond most anybody. Sounds like to many of those starlights in LA who seen any publicity as good publicity. Frankly, I really doubt TO says all those things and would particularly do it on Irvin's show cause Irvin bleeds Cowboy blue & silver. Maybe Roy Williams and few other players who know him a little better might want check in with him see if he OK, if you know what I mean. On other hand, maybe it just best to ignore everything he's says and just be friendly to him.

I'll tell you one thing -- I bet no way will the Cowboys bring him back next year, particularly if Parcells comes back. Also think he'll have a tough time drawing interest from any other NFL team next year.

Well, if you averaged his numbers with Romo out over the season he'd be in the top 3 in yardage and TDs. You can't knock the guy for Bledsoe's lack of production.

I don't know about all that cause i'll sure as heck take him on my team but its this whole crying thing that is just stupid.

He also chose the worse time to do this.

We are rolling right now. Nobody wants to face the Cowboys right now. Not even the Bears.

So why would TO act like a 13 year old girl right now?

The topic didn't deserve another thread. The statement I replied to deserved the response it received. Get it?

best post ive read in along time, i mean why does he get all this media type attention? he isnt a chad johnson anymore, TO's best days are behind him, sure he commands a double team, so did Joey Galloway, but with his production this year, he shouldnt be much of a headline at all anymore. he isnt that damn good anymore. :starspin

production doesn't always equal skill, Troy hambrick had a nice lookin average but I woudln't trust him to baby sit my dog let alone carry the load as a RB.

TO looked much more impressive playing for other teams than he has here, He yards after catch are what everyone talks about but that just hasn't impressed me yet this year.

not so sure about that, when you take everything into consideration (production, size, speed, blocking, durability, work ethic, yac yards) I think he has to be right near the top. I put him at number 3 right now behind Holt and Harrison.

I am so sick and tired of people saying throw out everything that we have done with Bledsoe and the only numbers that matter are after Romo started, TO was dropping balls with Bledsoe and is dropping them now with Romo. I can careless how he feels, as long as he is producing on the field like he does. I admit they are not like his previous years or what we expected out of him, but they are fitting great with system and that is all we need for now. I am amazed at the way BP is handling the situation, to me that is just another sign of an expreinced great coach. He is not bad mougthing him even try to take a swing at the subject, he completly ignores it like we should.

I dont think BP is going to let any of TO's crap to stand in our way. If TO strikes agin i see him going down on a spiral. We really dont need him
